any WNY / Buffalo / Toronto scapers?

i probably couldn't make it to a rally, but i'm still curious to see how many of us are out there...

I'm near Albany, and I can't make it to the NYC Rally, either. On a different week, when my car wasn't making me nervous and I actually had money, I'd SO be there (not that it's hard to convince me to travel back to my hometown area in the Tri-State), but this is one weekend that I just can't afford it. *sigh* :(

Hey Jillbles - would you be willing to come up to Toronto on Saturday? We are rallying in front of the Chum building at the corner of Queen and John Streets - the home of Space the Imagination Station which shows Farscape on Fridays and Saturdays. We'd love to have you!

We're meeting at 1:45 pm at the Second Cup across the street from the Chum building.

All WNY Scapers (or Scapers from anywhere!) are welcome to join us, the more the merrier!

Much as I'd love to come to Toronto (what a lovely place it is! And it's so CHEAP! Spent some time there a couple of summers ago, and had a wonderful time), my car isn't going to get me anywhere that isn't about half an hour away. And with the rent being due this week... I can't afford to do much of anything. If I could teleport directly to Toronto, I'd be all set; I KNOW I can afford a weekend IN Toronto. It's the getting there that's the problem.
If only I'd found out about all of this sooner! Then I could have PLANNED for it. Argh. :bawl:

I'll DEFINITELY be there in spirit. And I've got people at work signing the paper petition, myself and a couple of the professors are posting Save Farscape flyers around campus... I'm trying to do my bit, even if I don't get to go and meet all the cool Farscape fans rallying on Saturday.
Who knows, I may snap, and hop on a train. :-)

And I hear that there's supposed to be a live webcast of the Atlanta rally (with Gigi, Lani, and - I forget who the third person is, hang on a sec - Paul!) so you can tune in and see that one, at least!

Im going to collage at Syracuse! Im getting alot of people around my dorm intrested in the show just by talking about it. There are 10 Reckroom TV's in each lounge that will be on Scifi every friday come january!

There was a time when Creation used to come to the Western New York area, back when they strictly did Star Trek (and it didn't cost nearly a month's pay to go to one of those conventions either!) A friend of mine participates in gaming conventions from time to time... I'll see what info I can drag out of him.

Hi, everyone! I'm from Rochester, more specifically Fairport for my fellow Rochestarians, and I would love to get in on any get-togethers that you all might be planning! I'd travel to Syracuse or B-lo to meet up with you fine folks!
