That was Rygel. But it was priceless. This is one of my favorite eps. I think Claudia was the best in a field of greats. D'Argo as Chiana was great, especially when she was seducing Rygel/Chricton.

Okay, I'm a new Farscape fan, but for some reason, "Out of Their Minds" is an episode I had seen several times before I ever got into the show. Knowing absolutely nothing about the show, it seems that I found it enjoyable enough to stop channel surfing whenever it happened to be on. Of course, it was far more entertaining to watch it now that I've become a fan and know the characters.

There are too many hilarious moments to count. But the amazing thing is that I *know* I've seen this episodes several times over the years, and I had *NO* recollection of the scene where Crichton-in-Aeryn's-body stops to "check out" the body. I almost fell down laughing. Totally perfect! Chiana-in-D'Argo's-body and Aeryn-in-Rygel's-body come along, and Crichton's "I'm a GUY!" defense was just right. Was this scene cut for commercial time? In a way, I'm glad I hadn't seen that before. It made the episode "new" for me.

I believe I posted about "body switching episodes" on a Xena messageboard once and referenced this episode. I haven't watched every sci-fi/fantasy show out there, but body switching is a classic story. As I said there, it isn't old and tired if it's done well. And I've seen several shows do it well. This episode is now my favorite body switching episode. There are six characters involved (it's usually just two), and they each play two other characters, AND they all do a great job across the board. Also love the episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Buffy/Faith) and Xena: Warrior Princess (Xena/Callisto). And, though it doesn't count under body switching, I have to give honorable mention to David Duchovny's performance as Eddie van Blundht posing as Agent Mulder on X-Files.

No Meredith the scene wasn't cut, but there was one pecular time that Scifi reran it when it was rerunning the whole series (maybe the second time? the third time?) where they really goofed in the broadcast, and repeated the same part of it twice with a commercial break in the middle, so that the same switch happens twice exactly the same, and the other switch doesn't happen at all. I taped it, and later, watching, I was going, huh, what?

Absolutely unforgettable this one.
When the bodyswap is initiated my expectations for the rest of the episode dropped immensely. But once things got into swing I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

Couldn't help but notice D'Argo has quite a few episodes where he becomes rather effeminate actually.

Rygel in John's body is possibly the best joke in the entire series.

OMG this was probably my favourite episode of Farscape. I absolutely loved Crichton as Rygel. "Go on, just let it all out... Oh don't worry, we do that sort of thing here all the time. I just peed in the maintenance bay." Hilarious!

this ep is the perfect example of how farscape gets better with repeated viewings. the first time i saw it i don't think i truly appreciated just how dead on hilarious the impressions were.

from time to time, i practice my "chiana" but i can't figure out how to get my arms to move just right.

Just have to add my raves to the rest. I love this episode and it makes me
laugh everytime!! All of the actors did a wonderful job impersonating each others' characters'.

John (in Aeryn's body) instructing Rygel (in John's body) on the fine points of human, male urination--what a HOOT!!

And then John (in Aeryn's body) playing with her breasts, and getting caught--it was just hee-larious!! Love this show! :D

I thought so also . I love that part " I want my body back ! " And at the end, when everyone was back inside their own bodies, and John fell back down to the ground, and pretended to be still Rygel ( although we could know right away that he wasn't since Rygel would be back inside his own body, FINALLY ) . And John was kidding when he fell down and said " I WANT MY BODY BACK ! " And then Aeryn looked at him and he said, " Just kidding, Aeryn . I'm back . " And they both were on the floor laughing and kissing, etc. My favourite part of the whole episode.
