If you're double parked, blocking traffic, and I honk my horn and give you the finger, DO. NOT. LOOK. AT. ME. LIKE. I. AM. A. RETARD.

Just count your blessings that I didn't step out of the car with a tire iron.

I LOOOOOOOAAAAAAAATHE Allentown; I'd leave if I could afford it!

I've been living in the country for a long time now, and when I have to go to a large city, It's like people are trying to kill each other. Sooner or later, there will be avoidance systems installed at the factory on all cars.

laugh --I often have similar reactions as you do to idiot drivers.

Well, one morning on my way to work I was driving 80 MPH :shhh: in the left hand lane, when this DITZ comes flying past me on the right as if I was just standing still.

And she was hairspraying her hair............ WITH BOTH HANDS!!! :irate: :loco: :grr:

I haven't DRIVEN in Boston, but have ridden around in Boston. To be honest, the biggest problem I've had is the constant change around Logan because of the construction. The roadways and directions seem to always change.

Worst drivers I've ever seen are in Fayetteville, NC. Second worst is on 95, going through RI (I think it was). Then comes Allentown.

In my town it's common to ignore painted lines and lane signs. There are a couple of intersections where people consistently drive straight through a left turn only lane. One time I was trying to get into that lane because I actually wanted to turn left, and some guy floored it and went straight through the lane and then paced me so I couldn't get in. Then he had the nerve to get mad at me as if it was my fault he couldn't read.

I'm in NYC, where the stoplights are merely suggestions. I don't think a week goes by where I don't nearly get run over several times.

:vroom: Here in Northern Illinois I have seen:
A woman driving a car while eating cereal and milk out of a bowl with a spoon!
A man reading the newspaper while cruising along at 50+ mph.
And countless silly women applying mascara while driving -it that insane or what, I mean poke your eye out moron.

At Camp Coiner/Youngson, I saw a 6 year old kid steering while dad was working the gas and brake, doing a good 40-45 on a 45 degree turn. I had nowhere to run because on one side of me was a wall, on the other a metal bar/handrail.

Driving a car... is it a bit like playing the drums?

Yes,but if you make a mistake on the drums,it's a lot easier to start over.
