Chiana and future flashes

I never quite got this . . . is it explained in any particular episode? Why did she get them particularly and why did they make her blind?

(BTW, I really didn't like her new wierd eyes in PKW - or her hairstyle/makeup, actually - the old was better.)

In the episode Losing Time in Season 3, Chiana was possessed by an energy rider.

When it was forced out of her, it left behind some... changes.

Her powers evolved over the series, from knowing things before they happened, to seeing things by slowing down time, to her abilities in PK Wars.

But I am quite sure there is more to Chiana's powers then we have seen. Mostly in how her powers relate and affect time.

They are connected. Her powers evolved in Season 4 and eventually made her permanently blind

Replacing her eyes just revealed another evolution in her powers.
