I was just thinking - how did John fool the Peacekeepers that he was also Peacekeeper just by putting on a faux British accent? Surely they would've noticed he wasn't barking like a seal which is what Aeryn sounds like when you hear her talking her own language. Do you think the translator microbes stop you actually hearing what people are saying and just absorb what they mean, unless you're really trying to learn the language?

Good point. The only thing I can think of is that Peacekeepers have divergent languages, the same way as humans do.

I think since they auto-translate the words to the listeners tongue, they probably adjust the sounds to the proper ones, such as the "barking" tones Aeryn speaks(which is Claudia actually speaking the words backwards--Really). My two cents.

One would also have to wonder why the Peacekeepers don't notice that his lips aren't in sync with the Sebacean words they hear coming out of his mouth...

But, at some point, you've got to give the creators a break.
