Lookie what I found on the Net:

http://homepage.mac.com/chryse/Guiding%20Star/flyers.html

all I can say is WOW!

This are truly WONDERFUL flyers, the kind that can be handed out!

Man, looking deeper ... there are even flyers there, you can put up in Laundrymats, grocery store cork boards, compleate with tear off strips to contact the Save Farscape website!

These are IMO, VERY well done, and VERY well thought out!

cincygal--
thanks for posting this...who is the contact for that site?

i'm hoping maybe they'll add a flyer that doesn't mention the cancellation. in order to attract new viewers, i think we should be posting flyers that ONLY focus on J/A images and ONLY include the december marathon dates...it will make new people curious to watch.

if people aren't already watching FS, then most likely they're not going to care that much about its cancellation. and the images of creatures might scare away the non-sci-fi-friendly viewers.

I was going to start lobbying comic books stores in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas to see if they would let me place flyers at the front counter. I was hoping to focus more on the up coming eps in December and the new ones in January to get people who arent watching to start watching. And also mention the save farscape website as well.

Does anyone know of any other sites or people that have other flyer ideas/images relating to the above? I dont mean to be stealing ideas from other people, but I have seen a lot of AWESOME ideas that wouldnt have come to me in my wildest dreams and my computer graphics package aint all that great.

Thanks
LISA

I love all of the flyers.

:aok:
I have HP PhotoSmart 2000 and ArcSoft. Neither of them will allow me to bring up your flyers. What program did you use to create them? Or if you know of something that will work will you please let me know. Thanks. ScaperCat237@msn.com

Bumping up .... :aok:

BTW Red, have you seen these?

'Scapercat .... sorry, they're not my flyers. You might contact the main webmaster there, and ask them.

Edit: BTW ... looking at this person's website, it appears that they got a lot of this from this yahoo club here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/saccers/

so I suggest we join, and then we can address about getting more flyers or something, to those who created them.

LilOrion--
there are some beautiful flyer designs created by DarkScape that are exactly what you are looking for (www.farscape-one.de) the flyers have images of J/A and slogans like "this ain't your father's sci fi"...
i printed one out and added this info: "now on VHS & DVD" and "continues on the sci fi channel december 2002" just so people would know where to go to find it.
but i didn't say anything about it's cancellation...the pictures and the slogans are enough to make someone curious.

my next step is to take the print-out over to kinkos and make a stack of cheap B & W copies...at this point, i'm going for quantity over quality.

p.s. on DarkScape's site, first click on "english" then in the right hand corner click on "farscape ads"

also, on DarkScape's site, i used the PDF version when i printed out and it put 2 copies of the flyer on one 8x10 page. that way i can get more copies made by cutting them in half! so really my posters will be 1/2 page flyers...and they still look great.
