Meltdown - changed line (anyone read lips?)

John and Aeryn are starting to flirt with each other and they kiss for the first time in the episode. While they are kissing, Aeryn says, "What are we doing?" John says, "Better question: why now?" BUT, the sound doesn't match up with his lips. Is the ADR off? (What does ADR stand for? Something Dialogue Replacement, right?) Or did they line get changed in post? Anyone know?

It's not any wonder I noticed this. I've been replaying the John/Aeryn bits of Meltdown over and over since I first watched it. ;)

Apparently there were quite a few scenes where Browder and Black whispered something to each other during filming. They mentioned it in some DVD extras and were quite stubborn about not revealing what those things were :)

Hmmm....I would understand keeping something whispered a secret if it wasn't supposed to be an audible line, but this is supposed to be an audible line. It looks that way.

Ah well. I guess this will just continue to perplex me....as I continually watch John & Aeryn make out.

(Some of us need to live vicariously through TV.)
