Saturday, October 5, 2002: Join fellow 'Scapers from across Toronto
and the Uncharted Territories outside the GTA to speak out for a
fifth season of Farscape!

Where: Meet on the patio of the Second Cup at Queen and John Streets
(across the Street from the CHUM Building).

When: Starting at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, October 5th.

What to bring: Your Farscape swag, lotsa loonies for the Speaker's
Corner booth, plenty of attitude and something to say. Show the world
that Toronto wants a 5th season of Farscape!

Colour me frazzled.

I wanted to add there will be Farscape cookies courtesy of TrueBlueZhannFan at the rally (mmmmm. coookies ;))

Is there a better reason to show up than Farscape and cookies?

And I've been asked if people from outside of Toronto (Canada even) can attend: HELL YEAH!

The more the merrier...we'll even give you letters to post when you get back acorss the border ;)

I think I've figured out this posting a link direct to the rally sign up page.

So, no excuses not to sign up and come on down to Speaker's Corner, Saturday, Otober 5.

There will be cookies
There will be crackers
There may be buttons (still looking into that one)
There will be many people in LOUD mambo shirts.

And, if enough people are interested, there may be Farscape viewing...:D

“A Fifth of FARSCAPE” Toronto Rally ~ Saturday, October 5, 2002

WHERE: Speaker’s Corner @ Queen and John Streets

WHEN: meet on the Patio of the Second Cup across the street from the Chum Building starting @ 1:45 pm (look for the SaveFarscape posters)

THE “NOT SO SIMPLE PLAN:” ‘Scapers from across Toronto (aka “Tormented Space”) and the Uncharted Territories beyond the GTA will meet and ‘march’ on Speakers Corner to tape messages of support and love for FARSCAPE at Speaker’s Corner.

I understand from a ‘source’ at SPACE that there are people in Canada who are not watching FARSCAPE. This is unacceptable! Let’s get a little publicity for our show!

Bring loonies, attitude and fun ideas for on-camera antics. We want all of Canada to watch FARSCAPE. Send SciFi a message—let’s blow FARSCAPE’s ratings through the wormhole!

“PLAN B:” After party at the Bishop and the Belcher! After praising FARSCAPE to the country, come and down a pint with your fellow ‘Scapers at the Bishop and the Belcher: a cozy, English-style pub just steps away from Speaker’s Corner.

A NOTE ON DRESS CODE AND BEHAVIOUR:

· There’s no dress code but the plan is to get on TV; remember that your mama’s gonna be watching you and dress accordingly. =]

· When you’re thinking up things to say, please don’t include negative comments about SciFi, and particularly not SPACE. We want to sell Canada and the world, and most importantly, the honchos at SPACE, on how good FARSCAPE is, how much we LOVE the show, why they ALL should be WATCHING.

We come to praise FARSCAPE, not to bury SciFi, okay?

We want to be articulate, passionate, and polite. We are Canadian, after all.
We are good at nice. ;]

Enhance your Zhaan by spreading the FARSCAPE love; hand out flyers to unsuspecting yuppies; sign a petition; eat ‘Crichton Crunchies’; share a beer with people that really understand your sudden obsession with leather pants!

AND BRING BACK FARSCAPE FOR SEASON FIVE!
