It's been a while since I watched this episode. I LOVE IT. It's wonderful to get this backstory on Aeryn and Pilot. I love everyone's reactions to finding out that Aeryn killed the previous Pilot. (Zhaan's open hostility towards Aeryn, Chiana pointing out to everyone - Hey, she was a Peacekeeper! You think she was picking flowers before she ended up on Moya?!?!)
All the interaction between John and Aeryn. All the interaction between Aeryn and Pilot. All the flashbacks.
And I always get choked up by the end. LOVE THIS EPISODE!

I can never remember the name of the peacekeeper that Aeryn was recreating with...Anyway, it was the way at first he appeared to be the standard cruel peacekeeper and as the story unfolds,he is actually a much more complex man than at first thought. There were moments when he held the cheek of Pilot that were so touching. He spoke so comfortingly and yet still working out Crais's agenda, but on his own terms. And then to find out that Pilot is also somewhat of a renegade in his own right amongst the rest on Moya. This episode made me cry.

It was the first time i saw Aeryn cry and it reminded me of Faith in Angel when she broke down...very moving.
I loved all the back story too, which gave you a better insight in how Aeryn is.

I just watched this ep (for the third time) yesterday. It is one of my favorites, too! The Velorek backstory is full of surprises and his betrayal by Aeryn is the most shocking (to me). I am amazed that Claudia can make her eyes fill with tears and not let a few drops fall. Her acting talent really shines through in this episode! :cloud9:

Just on my fourth run through it mate and yeah that episode really stings. I love in Farscape how noone is really innocent, it makes the characters so much more real
