Has some solid information about Farscape's return. It's "reinvetion" is kind of what I thought it would be. Farscape - The Next Generation.

For a long time, I've had this image in my mind of Chiana wakling through a corridor on Moya, shouting "Crichton!, D'argo! where are you" like a typical opening to an episode.

She walks in to the room and it's revealed that she's looking for D'argo Sun-Crichton.

We don't know how long Nabari live for, or any of the other races for that matter. I think an older, wiser Chiana would work well with a young brash Crichton jnr.

I'd be OK with that. actually. Maybe the Nabari contagion is finally starting to spread through the universe so Crichton Jnr embarks on a mission to warn Earth of the new threat it faces.

Ben and Claudia could still guest star from time to time as well.

I have faith in Henson to deliver great characters and stories.

The Nebari Contagion has already spread through the universe. That was what Nerri and Chiana (and many others) were inadvertantly doing through the years.

The Establishment was just waiting for the right moment to trigger it.

Think that when the Universe was in disorder and upheaval after the confrontation between the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers might be a good time to make their move? :)

I'm not sure I want a "Farscape - The Next Generation".

Farscape, for me, was unique, particularly in the characters and the setting.

I don't want an entire new cast with a handful of regulars making the return. I don't want a new ship, or a moonbase or something.

I want Moya, Pilot, John, Aeryn, Rygel and Chiana, as well as Scorpy and possibly Sikozu appearing every once in a while. Add two or three new characters if you must, but don't make it "John teaching adolescent kids outer-space stuff on a big high school moonbase".

I'm actually looking forward to seeing some new faces. I think John and Aeryn's story, as the two central characters, is complete. I don't think JHC should unwrap such a well wrapped ending from the PK Wars mini. But that doesn't mean I don't want them in a strong supporting role. A new protagonist will be a brand new start in a brand new direction in the Farscape universe. I think Moya, Pilot, Rygel, and Chiana should continue to be part of the main cast with John and Aeryn's son being the main star. John and Aeryn should have recurring roles, but as support characters only. And "Big" Dargo? His story was completed with John and Aeryn...Leave him be.
