Does anyone have any updates on any Farscape info from the Comic Con?

I snurched this report from aeryncrichton over on the Terra Firma forum:
I don't THINK anyone's passed this on yet, not out on FF, anyway, so here's the scoop from ComicCon!
Not a whole lot of news. Predictably, at the SG-1 panel, Ben suggested politely that the questioner ask Brian at the Henson panel later in the day, though he did say he'd *talked* to Brian. At the Henson panel, Brian looked at the Sci Fi.com exec and checked whether a press release had gone out and then said that Rocke was on board and would be creating the webisodes with him.
It sounded like the scifi.com people had actually approached Brian about webisodes, rather than the other way around. Brian said that he always planned to do more Farscape, it was just a question of when and how. He did say it was 10 episodes (not 12 as he told TV Guide), but he's still saying 3 to 6 minutes. He's also still mentioning "next chapter," which is what he was saying in the PKW publicity. He said they're being deliberately secretive (his word!) right now, though a lot of stuff is still very much undecided.
Anyway, Brian's clearly very excited about doing more Farscape (he said so, LOL!), though he's got a lot of other stuff going.
One delightful surprise for Scapers who hung out for the entire Henson panel -- they did a live (short) performance of Puppet Up, their puppet improv show. Where they would normally use a volunteer from the audience to operate one puppet, none other than our boy Ben came out and took on a puppet whose job it was to be applying for a job as a Ninja! LOL! Ben obviously was a lot less experienced with the puppets than Brian and company -- he kept getting his head in the frame, LOL, ('cos this shows up on video as well as live), but he obviously had a blast. At the end he gave Brian a huge hug! ;D

Thanks CT!
selected c/p from my LJ post:
Then before Q&A got started Brian went right to the Farscape news, saying "we've created a new way to bring it back, a cool and interesting way to bring Farscape back initially" via the webisodes. "We do know more than we're saying," he took pains to assure everyone though the deal is soooooooo new that nothing is signed yet and there are some things "in Farscape tradition" that have to be kept "very secret, it's so recent and still in the creative stage."
Then he confided that Rock (Rockne O'Bannon, WOOT!) will be writing the webisodes with Brian - if the press release hasn't hit yet, it should soon - and that we can look for them to be "a lot of fun, very experimental media that takes Farscape to its next chapter," and that they're both very excited (that was, as you can tell, reiterated a LOT) but have to keep details very secretive (ditto) right now.
Craig Engler from Sci-Fi Pulse was there, and talked a little about how webisodes are "a proven format" for Skiffy and "the first thing we thought of was not to make a new show - it was we have to bring Farscape back." He talked some more about the BSG precedent and how millions of people had watched the webisodes that set up the third season, and that the Farscape webisodes will be (as previously reported by TVGuide) a series of ten eps, from three to six minutes in length. Brian closed that portion of the panel by saying "There's very little we can say creatively except that I'm sure there will be characters you know, and very sure there will be characters that are new."

Uhmm... actually I did it on July 4th via e-mail you or Jul told us in I Have A Plan area.
Here it is: "Dear Sirs,
not long ago I found out that your company acquired rights to the first season of my favourite s-f TV series - FARSCAPE. I would like to ask you when the first season DVDs will be available and what new extra features we can expect?
Best regards,
Katarzyna Godycka
Warsaw, Poland"
Don't you think 25 days is long enough to get an answer? I'm still waiting for ANY. That's why I made this request here, since I don't believe Sony is going to answer my e-mail. If you were more lucky than me, please share your knowledge with the rest of the class.

Sony's a major corporation and Farscape is a tiny niche show in reruns. Sony's world does not revolve around Farscape, so no, i don't think 25 days is too long.

they may not, and they aren't under any obligation to do so. again, their world does not revolve around Farscape. do i personally think it's good business to answer a polite inquiry with a response? sure. but that's easy for me to say. i'm not Sony and who knows how many emails they get. it's all about perspective and you're only one person.
If you were more lucky than me, please share your knowledge with the rest of the class.
if i had an answer, i would have posted it. i didn't write to Sony, never said i wrote to Sony, and probably never will write to Sony.
i think it's interesting that they've purchased the rights to the first season but haven't made dvd's yet but i don't think it's the end of the world. maybe they're waiting to acquire additional seasons in order to make the production worth their time and money. i have no idea.
maybe Sony's keeping tabs of people that email or write in asking about Farscape and time would be better spent getting fellow fans to write to Sony instead of being nutted up about them not replying to you.

sometimes we can and sometimes we can't. *shrug*
as we have said before over the past five/howevermany years, when we have *confirmed* news/answers/whatever that we *can* share, we do.

this is just one person's thought and there is no reason to reply in reference to this actual post but with new people to the boards and lots of questions being asked let's keep it positive and remember that we are all friends, so we shouldn't make slights or give attitudes towards each other, even if someone does it first. i don't know if anyone agrees, but i think that can apply from anyone from a first time visitor to admins themselves. Farscape is back in some form, we've come to a major point in our goals. 'everything old is new again'. as much love as we have for each other and as much as we have in common i get sick sometimes of reading people bicker back and forth to points where they are doing so just to be the one who's 'right' because they are stubborn. please people, keep cool. be happy. ask questions and answer without attitude and don't feel you have to respond to someone who does. i believe we should keep it all good times and like waltersgirl said in another post, focus on our part now more than ever: spread the news of Farscape.
