campaign button

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but an artist has designed a rather spiffy-looking campaign button, and is still short of orders to get them printed. Be a shame when he's so close to his goal...

We reached the amount for 500, minus the shipping. Just need about $30 to cover that. The good people at buttonsonline accepted the first payment to get the order rolling. They just need the shipping so it can be sent Overnight Air. Now THAT'S service! I should be receiving the order then by Saturday. I will then start sending out buttons!

Yup. Each $1 guarantees you a button. Some people have chosen to donate more than the number of buttons they're getting. For example, if you donate $10, you can get any number up to 10 buttons. Make sense? The extra funds are being used to pay for priority shipping to get the buttons to their destinations quickly.

As of 8:30 am this morning, all orders previously placed for the buttons have been sent out. Last night I spent the entire evening putting together 51 packages. I hope everyone is able to get theirs before the Oct. 5th.

I have resumed taking button donations. These will be sent out as ordered. Each $1 donation gets you a button. Please check out the button page (previously listed) for information on ordering. I prefer Paypal payments, but will take snail mail if you want.

The Pilot buttons are almost all gone. They had a limited run of 500. Once they are gone, I will be posting up a new design, and set a new date for shipment. Thanks to everyone who has ordered them! The new design will probably go up next weekend.

BTW, I'd love to see pics of people wearing the buttons. Please post them. :)

edit: The pilot buttons are now all gone. Donations now are for a design I will be posting this weekend.
