I'm sure there have been other dvd questions in the past, and I definitely did do a search to try and find some answers, which always leads to a few more questions or doubts. You guys who have the dvds for a long time now, know all about them, but it's a little confusing while I'm trying to still figure out the versions. Please help answer these, and thanks :)
Season one is hard to find now, that's the Starburst dvds or the big series box edition? This has something to do with Sony, why hard to find now?
So Season one AND two of the Starburst dvds were reissued to have 4 discs instead of 2 right? That's 4 discs in one package as opposed to 2 discs that are doublesided? As you can see now I know little about dvds. How do I know which one I'm getting when I buy. The reason I ask is because I see a few Starburst dvds in the "used" section at the FYE store and am now just learning about these 4 discs versus 2. It sounds like it's really important to get the 4 discs. But Seasons 3 and 4 were naturally put out as four discs??
And I just want to be sure on this. The Starburst dvds have all the commentaries that the big boxes that first came out had? PLUS MORE? Because I had always thought the box sets were the only way to see whatever commentaries was on them.
I saw one thread show a picture of 12 Starburst boxes. That's how many it takes to have the complete series. So if I get those 12 somewhere, I'll know I have it all, there's no second guessing there?
Thank you very much for your help. I was always a Farscape fan but I've been missing watching it. I've watched a couple episodes in syndication but I don't know if anyone else thinks this, but I don't like the way they're shown, it's like they get cut for commercials at the wrong places, not the way I remember watching them originally. Or is that just me? THANKS :)
