This is my first post, so first of all Hello!

I just found a great site that has relatively cheap bumper stickers that you can create. While driving to work, I see tons of these and think it would be a great way to get the word out about the show.

The first idea I had was using "FS" for the oval stickers that are commonly used to advertise vacation places. They are available at the below site. You can put some text below the "FS" too. So as long as someone gets close enough to your car, they'll be able to see that "FS" means Farscape. I may also order one plain text sticker that says FS=Farscape so people who are driving past me GET what FS means.

My other idea was a "Watch Farscape?" bumper sticker similar to the "Got Milk" campaign. They have a template available under the plain text bumper stickers. I just wanted to suggest this site for all of you who can make it to a 10/5 rally. Make bumper stickers and pass them out!

The site is: www.makestickers.com. Also from what I can tell shipping is free so that's even better.

Scape On!

but because I've always wished someone would offer a service where I could get custom bumper stickers... :)

I've played around here and have come up with a few designs I think are pretty cute:

Oval stickers:

FS1 (small print: "save Farscape")
MOY (small print above: "my other car is"; below: "a leviathan")
FAR (small print above: "save Farscape"; below: "www.savefarscape.com")

They have a "science fiction" template category with a space shuttle design that has good space for a "save Farscape" message.

In addition, you can upload your own designs, which means that with permission we could use some of the Ratscape designs for a whole series of stickers.

I like their "preview" capability - really well done and fast. The prices are a little bit high for a single bumper sticker; round up your friends and get a bunch of them, and drop some off at your local comic book store for free distribution.

Personally, with no offense intended to anyone else, this is how I'm contributing my money to the cause - by making things I can get in public view and that I know I have control over. Even if you haven't donated, supplement your letter-writing with a name recognition exercise and sport a bumper sticker!
