Howdy y’all – long time no see – been dealing with life and all the fun that comes from job related stress. Anyway – the reason I’ve jumped back on the board is to ask the community for their opinion. I am currently Scaping my kids. This weekend they will be to the Mini series and I wanted to do something special for them. The groups I’ve Scaped all had an “End of Series” party – complete with chips and munchies, drinks and junk like that. I wanted to do a little something extra this time for the kids. The idea I had was to get one of those portrait cakes – the kind where you scan an image and they reproduce it on the top of the cake. The image I want to use is an image that dates back to the Burbank Con of 2005 (minus the text at the bottom naturally).
But I was actually wondering if anyone else had any better ideas for an image or opinions on what to do for the party to make this even better. It’s all for the kids – who are 9 and 12 respectively. Since it’s only the three of us I don’t want to get too crazy – balloons and decorations are just too much. Wha’cha all think?
