Farscape Filming Sites, and Best Time To Visit Sydney?

Fellow Scapers,

I may have an opportunity to attend a conference in Sydney this coming fall - September/October time frame. Is this a good time to visit Sydney? What's the weather generally like at that time?

Also, is there a website or list of Farscape filming sites available? If I go, I've got to make a few side trips!

I've never been to Australia, but I know their seasons are basically opposite of ours (summer at Christmas time.) My guess....late winter/spring, but what do I know. I've never lived outside of the midwest.
