EW.com ran a feature a while back about shows that the EW editors would bring back. They did NOT include Farscape (but they did include Firefly  ). But they had a comment section asking site visitors to tell which shows they'd rescue if they could. Today I saw they had a new feature/photo gallery with 30 shows that viewers would bring back if they could so I clicked through to see if Farscape made it this time. It did! (and it was my comment, which I had forgotten I even wrote) fun times. We're listed on slide #21 if you want to check it out.

Coolness. Though it does strike me as depressing that they wouldn't have included us in their article. I mean, Farscape isn't THAT small. :(

It wasn't really about size of the show. I think the original story, IIRC, was the personal picks of the individual EW.com staff members. So Farscape just wasn't the first choice of any of those individuals. Shocking, I know, but at least they put it in this list! :D

Congratulations, atlantagirl!
But don't take anything EW has to say on this kind of topic as "real". EW ran a top 25 Sci Fi movies and television list last year, a really strange list, too. They left Farscape off that one, too. And they asked for readers to post comments. And they posted the list of top 25 reader picks based on the comments. Farscape was at the top along with Babylon 5 and SG-1. You can read about that list at the following link:

Then EW wrote an article for their print edition. They admitted making a mistake not including B5 on their list, but said they couldn't get past the muppets on Farscape. They were particularly mean to the Gaters.
Apparently, EW thinks it's a smart marketing technique to plant phony lists to generate comments, and then insult the groups that respond the most.
Makes me think of a lyric from an old pop song: "Strange as it seems, you know you can't treat a reader mean."
I wouldn't bother trying to figure out what's going through the heads of anyone working for EW these days. Once upon a time they loved us, but now they don't.
