I have never seen the chess set for sale anywhere. Believe me - I would have bought it in a heart beat. The way Farscape used the chess set to tell symbolic storylines (especially at the end of Liars, Guns and Money) was incredibly subtle and intelligent. The Black King (Scorpy) standing upright over the prostrate White Queen (Aeryn) - all other pieces scattered off the board, and John desperately failing to stand the White King (himself) back up. Winona (Aeryn again) on the chessboard pointed at the Black King - but John unable to fire her because he couldn't manage to stand the White King back up.

Brilliant.

I would have bought a replica for just that scene - but TPTB used the chess board many times, each time foreshadowing or supporting the ongoing storyline. :D

So basically to answer your question - I haven't seen a replica available for purchase. But you aren't the only one who has asked. Maybe you know some company that does these things? If you ran it past them, they might be interested in reproducing it for fans. Heck - Toy Vault recently released a Plush 1812 DRD (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TYV61006) and will be releasing a Plush Scorpy (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TYV10184&mode=retail&picture=out) soon. Why not a chessboard? ;)
