I can easily add other text to these posters, as could you (cut and paste into blank areas, then Xerox, or do it in photoshop if you know how).
I think printing these on fairly heavy paper and then printing your particular rally or con or whathaveyou information on the back of them would work well. You've got the simple bold poster to grab attention, then the information is on the back.

Ideas for slogans or text for these posters are welcome

Scorpius, I am so very sorry for not commenting on how awesome these are. Yesterday when I looked at them I got so inspired I ran off to my Paint Shop Pro program (an etch-a-sketch to more talented people I'm sure) to see what I could create. After a few hours I realized that I will be using yours, because I can't even come close. I love how you got all the vital info worded so simply and direct. And everything on these is just perfect. If I didn't know anything about FS I would be dying to know now! These are truly amazing! Thank you for sharing with us etch-a-sketchers! :)

These are awesome! I was overloaded with different threads on flyers and so didn't check this out until just now. It would be more expensive, but I think I'm going to do 5x8 flyers of several of these and stuff mailboxes with them.

BTW, Scorpy, do you take requests? :) If so, I'm looking for something eye-catching yet small scale for 1"x2-5/8" labels, and something for a bumper sticker -- needs to be easy to read at fast speeds :finger:

Alternatively, if you could point me in the direction where to find some, I'd appreciate it. These are two items that I haven't seen any samples for out there.

Love it! And I think the mail-box stuffing idea is great! I was thinking about that, but didn't see quite the right design... until now :D I'll get the printing going, although I think I might wait until December or even January before I put them out. I always assume everybody else has my concentration span (that of a goldfish on valium :D), so I'll wait until they can just go and switch on the TV...

Pilot is beautiful! Thanks for doing these for us. I was finally able to print a pdf of Aeryn on my little 4 color printer and it turned out very well. I also printed up the jpg of D'Argo and was very pleased with that, too. A couple of the pdf links still say "File Not Found", though. I think I might put them on disk and take them to Kinko's since their printers are waaay better than mine.

Dutch, can you remember the pdfs that said 'file not found?'
I can't believe they are not there...but it would save me a lot of looking, and my poor server some bandwidth usage if you could tell me.
I"m glad they look good printed out from the jpgs and that the pdfs work for you also. My printer is frelled right now so I've not been able to test print these. ;)

Be aware that you can have Kinko's play with them to get the brightness/contrast and colours 'right' if they look too dark or light or whatever.

I tried downloading the .pdf versions of dargo_iyyy_sfs1.pdf and aeryn_john_sfs4.pdf, but both ended up empty, no files transferred. Can you check your site for problems? All the rest downloaded fine and they are the best quality flyers I've seen yet!

In one of the thread on the strategy board we've been talking about large window-decals for the rear-window of our cars to spread the message fast (or while standing in a jam, if you live in LA or NY or Boston). It turns out that one of our own has family connections to a print-company and could get them to do the printing for self-cost, making it more than affordable.
The area would cover 18"x36", so we would need a new design for that, something not too dark, so we can still see through it, that tells the story and announces when and where to watch in bright letters easily read at 80mph :D

So I thought that sounds like a wonderful challenge for your creative genius :)

I've made decals like that before. I'll make it nice and colour saturated.

Well, can I add my humble postcard-sized image to your thread? It isn't exactly a piece of art, but I'm sorta proud of it. I hate to start a whole thread for it and this seems like a good place to plunk it down. I made it to focus on the romance like people have been speaking about. Also to use little ink. However, I'm very open to suggestions on changing what is there as far as words and what-have-you. I really want to make a contribution and have it be used!

These should print to about 5.5 x 3.75 inches. If not, please let me know. I'm not great with printed images. Much more familiar with web graphics.

We used some of these FANTASTIC pdf files for posters at our fan table and for our Farscape party at WindyCon. (We had three of them printed out full size at Kinko's.) They looked GEORGEOUS! AND they worked like a charm! As I sat at the table I would see people trying to slither by without making eye contact. Then they would glance at the poster, stop, and come over like they were being pulled by a tractor beam!

I love these of Crais... Met Lani, he's nothing like him :P

This last one of Scorpius is outstanding. Such detail! He seems 3 dimensional! I haven't even seen this effect in the paintings I've seen. :rainbow:

Wow, wow and wow! I love the ones of Crais! The eyes have it! I can't believe how much expression is there! Unbelievable! I will definately be using a whole lotta of your images llScorpiusll for the flyers I'm going to make. I will definately give credit where credit is due and put the URL on them. Sanctum of Scorpius is an awesome site! I used one of the images of Crichton with Moya I found there to put on my car. My car is purple, the image has lots of purple-it works so well together. :D And I've caught lots of people eyeballing it while I'm in traffic. :aok: It catches their eye and then reels them in to see "Watch Farscape" info. Love it.

To appreciate the detail in this (and the previous Scorpius one, 'Remembrance') you need to print them from the PDF at a larger size. They still make good prints on 12 x 18 stock, esp if you use good quality glossy paper...or so I've been told by a FS obsessed employee of Xerox!

Now I will be focusing my energies such as they are on the Car Wrap / transparency of the whole cast, which I hope to have completed by this weekend.

Well ||Scorpius||, thanks to the kindness of PurpleJulian, I have an autograph on a copy of your Scorpius-incubator portrait. I was unable to get to the Pygram signing in Windsor, and she took the picture and got him to sign it for me. In silver ink too. I'm thrilled with it.
