Hey all,
I can't be the only scaper in the 'Burgh. Can I?
Would anyone be interested in getting a mailing list together?
Eve
This is the first time I've replied to a message. There are a few scapers out in Eastern PA. I've never been part of an effort to save a television show, but I wish there was something I could do now. My work is pretty inflexible, so I can't take time off to go to the rallies. Besides writing to the networks (upn, etc) are there other things that could be done?

and just when i say "yeah", some tv exec numbskulls
want to be idiotic and lame, and cancel the show

Hi! Welcome! Check out the local mailing list, if you haven't already. It's low volume, but we're trying to gather folks together here in the 'Burgh. I'm going to see if we can get a group together to do the charity event.

Cross posted from Campaign Strategizing:
Listen to an underwriting spot!
The first of three drive-time radio spots for this week is scheduled for 4:20 pm EST today on WYEP 91.3 in Pittsburgh.
You can also listen to WYEP via live streaming audio at their website, www.wyep.org .
These are underwriting spots on public radio so they must be neutral -- they are not allowed to have comparative or promotional language. They are simple and to-the-point reminders of when Farscape airs, with mentions of our email address and the watchfarscape.com addy for more info. Two more spots are scheduled for tomorrow morning drive time and tomorrow afternoon drive time.
(And really, you all should be listening to WYEP anyway. Best. Radio Station. Ever.)
