Looking for Illini Scapers. We are in East Central Illinois looking for any other Scapers in the area. <sniff> It been just hubby and me.
I know we can not be the only ones....shout out.

Hey there Champaign-Urbana! (Alumni, here) The Chicago Scapers group would LOOOOOVe to have you with us! AND - I know of at least one other Illini Farscape fan.

i'm from central Illinios. Peoria. Your not alone. I have like 5 friends who are as hooked on farscape as me. Most of us are college students. We all hope that we can get Farscape a fifth season. Good luck to us all.

There are more Scapers in Illinois, I knew it!! We were feeling a bit lonely. Everyone we talked to knew nothing of Farscape!
We are not exactly in C-U (altho alum too) we are about a half hour east, about 8 miles from IL/IN border.

I just got Sci-Fi and was watching SG-1. I got home early one day and saw Farscape. Didn't know what to think at first... Will be purchasing all the DVD's as they come out now. I am in Effingham.

Welcome to the insanity frbill!
Right now here in the States Season 1 & 2 are out in their entirety. Season 3 disc 1 (3.1) was just released on the 18 of April. If you get to the point where you have caught up with the DVD's PM me and I have everything else on VHS and would be happy to let you borrow them.
We are about two and a half hours away from you in Westville, IL ...just south of Danville.

Normal, IL Scapers here!
Yep, Scapers actually live in NORMAL, IL. It's about 1 1/2 - 2 hours south of Chicago in Central Illinois.
There are three Scapers in one house (and a Jr Scaper who is just 2 yrs old). AND we are the organizers of ScaperCon, which just happens to be in Chicago this year, from August 1 -3. Check out www.bluelady.org for details. Currently we have 6 cast members from Farscape attending and possibly more to come!

Yes there is yet another Illini scaper. Wheaton, it's about thirty to forty five minutes away from Chicago (with decent traffic ). I've been a huge fan of the series since I happened to see the 2nd or 3rd episode but only recently started looking into the fan community. I am enjoying what i'm seeing.
Welcome to the insanity WarriorWoman and Farscapegoat (you both have great nicks, BTW!! :D)

Just registered at chicagoscapers, but the number of registered users there are low. In reality there has got to be more than 4 times that many Scapers in the area. They must not be into the local thing.

I'm from Hartsburg :) Tiny, itty bitty little hick town... 350 people! I go to Millikin in Decatur :)
Decatur! Been there. My roommate in college was from Mt. Zion. :D
No worries, SPA...I am originally from Bismarck, just north of Danville. Grand total 740 population. I think that includes the 500+ dairy cattle that live in the middle of town...no joke!! " :lol

My boyfriend's Nana lives in Bismark! :)
:lol No way! Too frelling funny! You will have to let me know who she is, I am related to half the population in that town (sans the cattle, thankyouverymuch :) ) Has she lived there all her life? If so, then she would know the paternal side of my family more than likely. :D
