At the Mall of America during the Holiday season? You can host large events there (private, entertainment related, non-profit). Some of the entertainment ideas are autograph sessions, vikings Season kick-off party, etc.) The only stipulation is it has to be free to the public and draw people & raise awareness for whatever we were doing. So we could hold a farscape rally with "cast members" or a charity event etc. It doesn't just have to be MN Scapers involved (we could be hosting it) but if planned with enough time it may be a large enough event to get some media attention near the Holiday season and the Chain Reaction.
Would anybody be interested?

Isn't there another global rally being planned. Couldn't this be done then?
I agree, the Mall of America gets huge crowds during the holiday season. Sounds like a good idea.
How about providing gift wrapping services, or babysitting services?
I would expect that this may already be under discussion at the MidwestScapers group at Yahoogroups.com
ChicagoScapers may also be willing to lend a hand.

group. I was just looking for more groups outside Minnestoa that might be interested in the possiblity of a large rally planned in December that could be a big event Not just a rally or passing out flyers). The smaller rallys are great but a big event would definately attract attention.
It would depend on interest to do it big or to keep it small and state by state.
