I am from Topeka KS, going to school in Omaha NE. I thought the mid-west was a dead zone for Farscape fanatics. I'm luckly to find someone who has heard of the show, let alone a fan!

Hey, I never saw this thread before! I've checked in on the thread for Kansas City area Scapers occasionally (http://www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5855), but that one seems to have gone cold lately. Is this one going to get active now? :)

I recommend Private Messaging OR e-mailing all the respondents on this thread, and then maybe starting your own Yahoo Group. You can call it something like the Great Plains Scapers. :) That way you can more easily keep in touch, and maybe plan some meetings. For example, October 5th will be the one year anniversary of the SaveFarscape effort, and that might be a good time to get together, have a face-to-face meeting, and plan some SaveFarscape related activities for the group.

Valley Con 28 will be held October 10-12th in Fargo, ND. There's still time to put together a Farscape fan table, or maybe to host a panel.


Anyway, it's just a thought.

A Yahoo Group Sounds cool, anyone interested in setting one up? I already have a ezboard for sci-fi with a Farscape forum, but I have been busy with work, social life, "special aspirations :aok:" and the gym lately. :D Thanks to the above the board's been slow lately.

I miss those reruns at 11pm, they stopped with the third season!

Wow! There are a lot of Omaha Scapers here! Proof that Nebraskans have good taste. I hail from NE as well, but I'm about 6 hours from Omaha - that's where I go for good shopping and food. There are actually quite a few of us where I live who watched faithfully - I'm working on recruiting a friend from Kearney too. Scapers makin' like an army...

So I'm waiting to hear from you about the rally and hope we have no regrets with Could'a, Would'a, Should'a's becaue that's just Losing Time. So let's do this so we can Thank God It's Friday Again and enjoy a little of That Old Black Magic otherwise we'll end up reflecting with regret only on What Was Lost and be left to contemplate an Unrealized Reality?
