I'm truly awed. Especially Bekhesh and Paroos... :faint: they're so beautiful, it actually touches me too tears...unbelievable, totally unbelievable...how can something so ugly look so beautiful? It just boggles the mind...

This is a great mood booster for me. Three weeks ago I twisted my knee and now I'm on crutches for a bit. I use your posters as a screensaver, and I just sit and smile at my computer when they come on.

I have ALL your posters in a special folder on both my laptop and my desktop. When I check out a laptop at work for a field assignment, I load several of these pictures on the hard drive. I also keep a fine selection of them on my desktop at work. I make sure to rotate them through weekly on my desktop wallpaper. On several occasions the stunning images have sparked a conversation with strangers about Farscape the show, and have helped recruit new viewers.

Your artwork has helped put an eye-catching and professional "face" to our campaign. It has helped tell the world that we are not merely a pathetic bunch of losers, but that we are an intelligent and savvy force to be reckoned with. (Heck, one of your images appeared in TV Guide -- how amazing is THAT!!??!) I can only WISH that the "official" Farscape products that are put out by the licensed channels (ahem, Creation Entertainment) were even half as good-looking and appealing.

Your talent and generosity has never ceased to amaze me. And, WHEN Farscape returns, and we are all sitting around at some future Con, regaling the newbies with stories about our campaign, we'll all be able to proudly say, "See that guy over there? He's he author of those classic Farscape images you see everywhere. He's a real hero, and he's one of US!"

I have to admit, I don't come in here *every* Wednesday, but I too am in total awe of your stuff, ratscape. I *love* your artwork, and respect you for all the time and effort you've put into this campaign and these designs. I'm SO happy you've decided to do a few more for us!!

I work at a marketing company, with a lot of graphic artists and writers. I am a member of the "postcard-of-the-month" club, and had my first shipment of cards--with your artwork on them--sent here. I was so excited when I got the package, I opened it right up and oohed & aahed over them. Anyway, a few people asked my what I was doing, and I handed out cards to about 5-6 of my co-workers. Anyway ... two of the artists actually hung them up on the walls of their cubes. One woman, Shannon, admired it so much that she want to scan it, blow it up, and make a poster to hang on her wall. They both agreed that the images were FANTASTIC!!

It's not just Scapers who appreciate your talent ...

Seconding the fact that every Scaper knows your work, I had seen your posters everywhere, and thought they were official posters. Then I found this board, and find that the person who makes them actually frequents it, and he is not official-just a very talented person who has been able to grace us with his work. I'm sure that your posters may be even more famous in the Scaper world than the Farscape1 or IASA patches.

That one is one of the Scarrans, but I forget who it is. I wouldn't have a clue on what page that image is on without having to page through everyone of them. My best guess is it came out somewhere in the 50s or 60s.

Hello all,

New to the forums here. A few of you might know me (and I know a few of you as well. ;) ). Great place to hang out around here, that's for sure.

To get to the point, I was wondering if there were any good way to contact ratscape regarding printing out his work and using it as promotional material in certain independent shops in the city (comic book stores, hobby shops, etc). I really want to help get the word out and ratscape's art is eye-catching in way that demands attention.

As for why I'm not PMing ratscape is for the reason that I've never talked to this person before and it would seem kind of awkward anyway.

Back to the point, any word from ratscape or others with encouraging words are greatly appreciated and will not go un-noticed.

PS. Thank you INeedMoreLiight for putting a reference post to easily access all the artwork from. :cool:
