BlueCatShip, I don't use a graphics tablet. They look like fun though. Still doing it the old-fashioned way-- point and clicking on a mouse. Adobe Illustrator is my program of choice and I'm on a mac.

I use Macromedia Freehand on a Windows box; I miss my Mac, which is packed at the moment. I use the mouse, but it *still* feels like trying to draw/paint with a bar of soap. I need a pen/pencil/brush, dang it. Thus, my question. I'll probably go with a Wacom tablet, but will research it some more before doing anything later this year.

I personally have made two T-shirts, one of Aeryn and the other of John, and I believe I created 25 Valentines cards from your John/Aeryn Valentine. Plus I used the Christmas and Valentine images to decorate the San Francisco 'Scapers website for the holidays:D

Oh yes. I am putting your artwork to good use. I do vinyl graphics, and I have been using your design to make stickers and magnets. Also, Dragon*Con in Atlanta (with 20K + attendees) is coming soon, and I will be using the DRD as the graphic for the DRD Rodeo. Because Lani Tupu, Anthony Simco and Jonathan Hardy will be guests there, I also plan to use your pics of them more prominently on flyers, banners and awards (costume contest & trivia contest). I 've got my husband looking into using your artwork for a chess game, so a Scarran would be put to use quickly. Finally, it was you design of Zhann that I used for my quilt square, transfering the design by grid method. I wish now that I had taken a picture of it before I mailed it out.

Yup, in my case i am, even though i could stare at those pretty poster for hours i'm going to use it in the new version of Ultimate-Farscape.com (see my sig) which i'm finishing to design ATM : http://farscape.serialmaster.com/v3

When the news design is done all of the posters you did will rotate and link to different to informations about the Campaign

That's only an example, i have plenty of way to use them in mind and i'm sure everybody has as well

Ratscape, I do so love your work. I've been using them to creat freebies for the upcoming Dragon*Con in Atlanta. (Stickers, magnets, buttons, keychains, banners, wall hangings etc...) Is there anyway I could get some of your artwork in adobe illustrator form. I have CorelDraw 11 at work, but I don't really use it for production so much as I use Sign Wizard. AI with vector lines would be just what I'd need, if you have it.

praetorian- Awesome Einstein! Must see more! The font I started with is Bronzo but I modified it a bit so it wouldn't be a match anymore.

MizBluSun- I think everyone who's been using the Wanted posters has just been pulling them off the savfarscape site. They're low-resolution but seem to print out okay.

this is my vote. we would be seen alot more if we all wore these shirts. people would ask "what is that?" and we would plug the show and we could get to see the rest of the story.

I just finnished loking at all the images in this here and I have to say .......You people that do these immages are amazing!! Ratscape, I LOVE your stuff, but I suspect that Moya and other vessels just wouldn't get the benefit out of your treatment that other characters do.

On the other hand, if you check out some of the "meshes" that Meurig47 has done (specially the "size chart" with various vesells on it) it is already on it's way to the sort of silhouette's that were used in WWII for aircraft recognition (and maybe since, I dunno).

Chryse ... if you like them, be sure to send some sunshine Meurig47's and Ashrak's way... for some reason they haven't been getting as much of a response to their posts as you might expect.

I can't imagine the amount of time those models take.. apparently they can rotate or reflect them as if they were real 3D shapes. Very, very, very cool.

I think that the ships would make better subjects for the propaganda posters, myself. When you think of it, Navy and Air Force ads usually feature air craft carriers and jets, respectively.

I'll beg for ships too...I've been looking at all your images trying to think of what they could be used for...and everyone's already started (ok, I came in late). I like Chryse's (sp?) keychain idea a lot and I think the magnets and sticker idea is wonderful (guess I'd better find a way to get to Dragon*Con, hunh?) Here's one further: several of the images in a row to fit a regular bumper sticker blank? i.e., John and Aeryn; with white space to the side that reads Wanted: Farscape--maybe in just b/w? Then vary the pics to make an assortment. I really need cool things for my new car, too.

Another cool way of promotion would be to put some info on the back of these things. Like Put SaveFarscape and the address (along with myfarscape.com) and just leave them in random places. Dinner tables, offices (dentist, eyedoctors, etc.) People might pick them up or they might not but either way you put out some of these and I guarantee you somebody is going to take notice. People are going to wonder why Farscape needs saving.
