Hi, I am currently looking for any "Farscape" fan fiction writers who may be interested in joining a fan fiction series. The information on it is below.
Series Title: "Farscape: Dreamer"
Premise: Jacob Norad, a fan of the show "Farscape", has dreams that affect the outcome of the series. With this newly discovered ability, he must learn how to live in his fictional life on board Moya and adjust to the new affect on his normal life.
Timeframe: First fic "A Wrench in the Clockwork" takes place on Sept. 15, 2000 (during the real life second season)
Right now, I'm working on the second story, "Afraid of the Dark". We are looking for writers be it long term or just as guests.
Fan fiction series' website (still under construction)- http://www.crosswinds.net/~farscapedreamer/index.html
The first fic, "A Wrench in the Clockwork" can be viewed here- http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=840644

FAQs:
1. "Do I have to write just for "Farscape: Dreamer" or can I have original fics?"
Answer: Both. Even though the site is under construction, one of the sections that will be constructed later will be of the writing teams' original and non-"Farscape: Dreamer" fics. But if you want to just do "Farscape: Dreamer" fics, that's okay.
2. "What's the difference between a long term writer and a guest writer?"
Answer: Nothing much, really. The guest writer isn't obligated to complete a fic if he/she starts it. You get all the benefits, including updates on the idea packet and guidelines (if any), just like a long term writing team member.
3. "Do I have to remake episodes? Do I also have to do one of the ideas from the packet?"
Answer: No on both. You can do an original "Farscape: Dreamer" adventure, but you must have Jacob involved (he is the centerpoint of the series, without him in the lead, it wouldn't work). And you are NOT obligated to do one of the ideas from the packet. The idea packet is there for a reason, in case you want to do one and you can't think of a story idea. However, if you have an original idea for a story, be sure to e-mail me first so that I can see what the story is about and be sure that I know that you are working on it.
4. "How many stories are there per fan fic 'season'?"
Answer: 11 fics per fan fic season. This is opposite of the 22 episodes per real season.
5. "Why do you have it start off in September of 2000?"
Answer: Because, that's when "A Clockwork Nebari" (one of my favorite episodes, which also inspired the idea of "Farscape: Dreamer") was aired.
6. "Do we have to include a date for the setting in the fic?"
Answer: No. The first fic sets the timeframe's starting point. It is not required to include a date on the fic.
7. "What do you use for a backup for the stories?"
Answer: Honestly, I use fanfiction.net. I would recommend having an account with them and posting fics there, but they have recently decided to no long house NC-17 rated fics (which means that I would have to hold on to a copy of the NC-17 rated fics on my hardrive). Also, Farstuff.net (now back up and running) is a website that I had plans on holding backups too.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you want to ask questions in private, e-mail me.
Thank you for your time.
