I'm going to say yes since it's possible to find this information on transcripts and the DVD's.

Good to know. Are the deleted scenes in the transcript I linked to? If not, do you know where one is? (I don't have the DVDs.)

I can't find a transcript for the missing scene, so I'm going to post it here, just so it's fair :)

The missing scene for Taking the Stone is a really short scene taking place right after John sees Das and Molnon going to the Gathering where Das is going to jump, and right before they show the Gathering itself.

[John watches Das and Molnon leave, looking sort of confused. Aeryn passes him, moving in the same direction as Das and Molnon]

Aeryn: Come on.

John: Where?

[Aeryn stops and comes back, moving close to John as she speaks.]

Aeryn: To the "Gathering", "Old Man". It's supposed to be the "draddest".

(You can just hear the quotes in Aeryn's voice as she says this -- it's really cool :) )

[Aeryn moves off after Das and Molnon again, performing a sort half-hearted version of the clasnmen's pose as she goes -- raising her arms, hands almost touching, and sort of wiggling her fingers in the air. John stares at her for a little while, and then turns his head to the camera, looking like he's beginning to think that he's the only sane one left on the planet.]

End of Scene.

That's the only deleted scene from Taking the Stone I could find on the US DVDs. Hope it helps. Not much there to ask questions about in here, but I still think it's a pretty nice scene. :)

Does anybody know if there are any more deleted scenes in the UK region 2 DVDs?

CMT has always worked on "aired only" episodes, since otherwise most people do not have access to them. A transcript, obviously, is a poor substitute for actually seeing a scene (ie: Rev's infamous "color" questions. <BG>) Personally, I would HOPE you would not allow them. THis is of course up to you.

I guess the deleted scenes in Season 2 are different from the missing scenes in the season 1. The scenes in Season 1 were actually *shown* in the UK, so they might be considered part of the "aired episode".

As far as I understand it, the scenes in season 2 were never shown before the DVDs came out, so they probably shouldn't be considered part of the aired episode...

I don't know... Sunshiner, what do you think?

My previous answer SHOULD have read that way. Not many people have access to things aired in the UK, for instance. Sunshiner, as moderator, would HAVE to HAVE access to these scenes/episodes in order for the questions to be valid (or, how could she tell if the answers were correct??). Does she? I know I don't.

Okay, I was not aware that the transcripts were from aired in the US only.

The only ones I've seen have been what's on the DVD's.

My concern is that people in the UK or who have seen the deleted scenes might not be aware they are deleted scenes.

Thanks for the transcript, Kaz. I rather like that scene myself. It's great.

But you have a point, Jules. So let's go with things that can be found on posted transcripts.
