Yes, it was a great success. The bboard on the DOM was jumping for a week with Scapers, Trekkies, special guests (including the fabulous Guy Gross, Farscape's composer), and fans from many different shows.
The whole cyberparty crew, including Pitdog, Cybergal, Uisceboo, and a cast of thousands (sorry, most of whom I don't remember at the moment), did a fantastic job organizing the whole thing and keeping it going.

i definately think there should be another one. i don't know how long it took to organize the first one, but i think one starting this monday til this friday would be aweosme. i dont know if special guests (like guy gross) would go to a party somewhere else besides the dom, but i knew a few people who suggested tht it be held in a slightly simpler location, because they got really clogged up and you don't want people getting on there, getting lost, and leaving because they couldn't figure out the board layout. i think something that expanded over several boards or just one simpler, easier board, would be better.

I'm not too computer savy, but I usually have nothing else on my mind. Kids are grown. No distractions. Not working right now. So I'm game. Just let me know. :jedi:

I just can't resist praising the group who did the party - code named Plan B from Outer Space.
They deserve a big round of applause, even though they worked behind the scenes through a lot of dren, and kept quietly in the background of the save FS campaign. They made a difference.
The Cyber Party was a huge factor in bringing people to savefarscape.com, IMHO. I saw a large jump in guests and in new
members to this forum immediately after the Party (11/10 - 11/17).
Many fans from other shows came to see what was happening.
Guy Gross dropped in twice!
The lead time in Oct and Nov was used to advertise it, invite TV fans from all over the internet (find TV Fans' sites, check their viability, send the invites took the most time). Then we spent days on the board discussing and welcoming people. It was not advertised as a Farscape party, but we had fun slipping in comments about it to make people curious. The pages on the DOM started flying then and haven't stopped.
Pitdog, the Flealess leader was a visionary to bring the party together, and lots of scapers worked non-stop for over a month to make it happen.
Many lessons were learned about community and public forums.
I salute the volunteers of Plan B from Outer Space for getting more people into the cause. It worked. Hundreds more people know about FS because of it, without getting lectured or otherwise hit over the head with our Farscape ferver. In fact I don't think people would have come to it if it had been JUST Farscape subjects advertised all over.
