It made sense to me. I had no trouble following the plot - and I covered my eyes at every potential scary spot and had the pleasure of hearing the packed theatre gasp as one. My date and I had to sit in separate seats across the aisle from one another; we didn't think it'd be so crowded as it was.
I can usually sit through just about any scary movie - this one is really effective. I'll recommend it - but I'm not ever going to watch it again!

I would have been leaning heavily against him, though, you bet, if we were able to sit together. Might have left nail marks in his arm!

Dropped him off, got home to realize I'd left my lights off. Note: just saw scary movie. Left car lights on, unlocked front door, immediately turned on living room light, ran back out and turned off car lights. Three cats decided it was time to come in for the night, and I welcomed them with glad cries. Do not want to be alone in house after scary movie. Ugh. Superstitious type, I am.

Well, I don't think they ever actually say, so within the context of this episode, we would have to speculate... In SOD, though, Scorpius says that it was "because Crais and Talyn were preoccupied with Officer Sun's last flight".
