Sorry, the subject is a bit of a ruse -- it's not about the Farscape cast! ;-P
Marti Acker, the makeup/wardrobe/costume chick who will be a Special Guest at the Cyber Party (right here on this board, 11/11-17), tells me she probably will be attending the Burbank convention (I told her to get off her eema and reserve the tickets before it was too late!). She had no idea that this convention was such a big deal; she thought Farscape was more heavily integrated into the convention scene, and this was just a little CreCon! She's been on the road with a show for a few years, so she's out of the loop. Hopefully, some of the fans can hook up with her at the convention!
I've done a con with her, Farpoint in Maryland, a few years ago. She is the coolest chick and one of my best friends, really more of a sister (and we sorta look alike!). She used to hand out water bottles and extra Sharpies for the guests, and bring a cooler with REAL FOOD for everyone who was hungry, and even bake oatmeal scotchies! She's a little busier now, but still as warm and friendly as ever. Ask her about Phantom of the Opera, and she will love ya forever!
Please give her a warm welcome at the Cyber Party next week!
