Just in case you want to innundate the people at USA TODAY, here are the two TV editors to contact:

Jim Cheng and Bruce Schwartz. They're TV editors and they pitch story ideas to the main editor, who makes final decisions on what goes in. If a bunch of us send e-mails to these guys, then maybe they'll pitch it to their boss, and maybe there'll be a story about it.

Tell them how much you love the show and how much you don't want it to go off the air. Tell them about the efforts made by fans

Here's their snail-mail address:
USA TODAY
7950 Jones Branch Drive
McLean, VA 22108-0605

I don't know their e-mail addresses, but judging from the addresses that are on USATODAY.com, it would be their first-initial-and-last-name@usatoday.com. So write in and get their attention! Maybe something will happen!

EDIT: Direct your e-mails to their assistant, Chris Theokas (same deal with the e-mail; init.; last name @usatoday.com).

IMO, this is a GREAT idea!

Let me add to it, why NOT mention the Fan push to do an Ad in USA Today when you write to USA today?

You can mention that Angie now has raised enough to actually DO *A* USA Today Ad, and further contributions are being sought, to make the ad bigger (as currently there is ONLY enough for the most smallest USA Today Ad, possible), and we really do believe that those funds WILL be raised (to make the ad bigger)?

I mean wouldn't THAT peak the writers interest, the fact that we are going to advertise in THEIR paper?

Thread on all that here:

and Angie's Webiste:

(Angie has just updated it in the last few days BTW)

Comments on this 'angle' being presented to the USA Today Writing Staff?
