Any TN Scapers

I just found out that Farscape has been cancelled. Have been so busy I have not had a chance before now to check the Sci Fi web site to find out where my Friday night Farscape episodes went. Needless to say I was shocked and extremely pissed.

I started watching about the end of the first season and immediately fell in love with the story and characters. I had a hard time waiting for the reruns so I could see how it all began.

I would like to help save the show and have just sent an email to Sci Fi expressing my shock, anger, and disbelief that they would cancel the best show on their channel. I would love to talk to other Scapers.

I have been a FARSCAPE fanatic since day one, I have seen it being born, exploding with growth, and I watched it die in the most horrible manner I could have ever imagined. Knowing it was to be the last episode, and seeing the "TO BE CONTINUED" banner in the final scene ripped out all respect I had for the sci-fi channel. How could they do this? Tennessee Loves FARSCAPE too.

OMG :eek: Where have all you Scapers been hiding? I only knew of 2 others in TN who post at this site and we wanted to get together for the final episode but only managed to get a couple of people from work.

I'm in LaVergne (North of Murfreesboro and South of Nashville) although I'm an 'import'! :D

Glad you told me that as the traffic is a bear when there's a concert on at the Ampitheater.

As a word of caution there are roadworks (down to 1 lane each way) on Murfressboro Road at Waldron Road so don't expect to get through there in a hurry if you usually come that way.

Knoxville native here, and always looking for new 'scapers to fight the good fight with. Had some luck in VA, but I'm not there anymore.

Great, cant wait to see all of ya down there, and i'll make sure to drop by the fan tables to yell at ya DRD.

I'll also be running around in my Sark (the bad guy) from TRON costume as well, so look for me as that too. I'll probably be wearing that one most of the time as the Scorpy costume is HOT AS HELL! I usually cant wear it for more than a few hours before i dehydrate and pass out.

Just 2 more months.

Ooops, so much for me being Zhaan. Cornrows are fenominally expensive in these parts. But I can do the Delvian hair myself, so I'll just be another Blue butt. Although this'll give me more freedom in making costumes. I'll still be volunteering at the SaveFarscape table. Getting closer and closer and I'm getting more and more anxious. Having convention withdrawl. Aaaahhh... great costumed group. See ya all there :)
