Beautiful! Fantastic! Trop :rainbow:

It sickens me to tell you that cofax has posted "Again on the Copyright issue" That pares down what we can & cannot use :(

It gives me another idear though :) ... well you know I'm always full of idears :D

Naw

The prob is it looks like them. Can't use their image at all. The font isn't the problem either. The actual *word* 'FarScape' is a prob…if we are trying to sell something.

As for giving it away, we still need to be concerned at the cons... are we taking bread from our actor's mouths :( Since they share in Pic profits on what they sell & sign. (That’s what I’ve heard anyway.) If I take this beautiful graphic you made to the con & let Claudia & Ben sign it... then whatever Pic I *would* have bought ... well, isn't.

Finding the fulcrum point here is a very sticky wicket.

How do we, in love and respect, represent and sell a show that we have no rights to? :headbang: How do we show it to other people and get them to watch when we have no images to snap into people’s minds that will Pavlovian cue them? :jedi:

We need to think further. We have to find the image, the thought, the punctuation, the catchphrase that will instantly bring FarScape into people’s minds without actually using any of Farscape’s images or name… It’s a toughie, but I know we can do it

:space:

Trop, that is a lovely image.

I think it is fair to say that it is ok to use these images in places such as postcards you may want to send to networks in your letters, postcards/bookmarks you want to leave for people to collect at your local library or scifi store, or even just as a poster that you stick on a wall in your street.

I mean, I'm sure it's not technically allowed, and I know the whole point of the copyright restrictions is to respect Henson's property, but I don't think it's a punishable crime to use images like this in your local area.

It would be a good idea to include a disclaimer though, and highlight that this image is not used to generate any profit.

Thanks Deanna T.

I always thought if it was something you drew that it was ok to use it. It's not an actuall pic. So can they actually copyright a drawing that I drew? Just a curious question. :)
