You may be able to tell by the last option that this was intended to be a slashdot poll, but instead I'm posting it here. I hope I can vote in my own poll. Oh, and this poll may be more up to date or less up to date than you are, so apologies either way.

I was compelled to vote on the Braca-Scorpius possibility. But the last one was very good!

I voted for Rygel. He's basically the only one who's main objective hasn't been achieved in any way... (except for a partial throne in Jeremiah Crichton...but still)

Braca and Scorpy are lovers! I knew the whole thing with Sikozu was just a ploy to hide his true affections!

You missed one:

Scarrans invade earth for flowers in John's mother's garden.

Here's another:
Ancients' back up arrives- take wormhole knoledge out of John's head as promised, only, in typical FS fashion, just before he really needs to use it...

I would check them all, but the first one. I don't see Rygel in a coup, he looks more like a Hummer kinda guy, with a touret and power windows. Of course you would have to modify the foot controls but that can be done.

i'm waiting for the nebari to bust onto the scene and go "wait a microt!!! don't forget about us!!!" and unleash their disease among the uncharteds.

then they'll have to contain it, granny will have to find some kind of cure, the crew will meet up with nerri and the rest of the resistance....it'd be a great arc.

OK, well, the Cowboy Neal option is the clear winner, with Rygel reclaiming his throne the runner up. I think it's hilarious that 2 people actually checked the "Granny is Maldus" option. I wasn't serious when I added that one in there.

I like some of the extra options people mentioned in their messages. Of course the Scarrans should raid Earth for the flowers. I don't know why I didn't consider that.

It just seems to me that Farscape has a lot of options to explore, and it may not get the chance. I'm really going to start looking for fan fiction. It may be a way to get some resolution.

Honestly, I think D'Argo's gonna round up some random Luxans to help everyone. If Rygel attains a coup and leads his 600,000,000,000 (did I miss a zero) loyal subjects, wouldn't it be a little too easy? Mebbe he'll pull it off after the Scarran and Peacekeeper threats are wiped out. It'd be hilarious to see the Nebari finally come back during the last moments of the S5 finale, only to be forced into an unconditional surrender by the great negotiator, Rygel, and his six hundred billion followers.

As for Scorpius being killed by Stark... Well, I'm a Crichton fan, and I have to protest... John has reason to as well!! Maybe they'll both team up- Stark'll distract Scorpy with his mask off, and John'll cap him in the back. But then, that would be too simple...

I think Grayza's gonna help the crew. You know- probably join. John's words to her near the end of Season 4 seemed to get through pretty well, what with her 'let's all sacrifice ourselves' speech.

Maybe Bracca will turn on Scorpius, and help, as well. You have to admit, he looked pretty disgusted. Or maybe everyone's right- he's disgusted because Sikozu will stop him from his late-night specials with his favorite half-breed master. In that case, never mind, and... Eww.

We all KNOW Staleek and that Scarran woman aren't dead. I mean... That wouldn't happen. They'll get blasted later on, though. Of that, I'm positive.

So, yeah, I think D'Argo and Chiana will get back to frelling, but I still think D'Argo's gonna round up some Luxans to help. It would be interesting to see Moya pregnant again, GODDESS only knows how, but maybe a new baby... It wouldn't be possible from what I hear, though.

I for one hope Zhaan doesn't come back. I know, I'm evil... It's just, well, her death was so touching. And I don't hear Virginia Hey feels like she's up for it.

I really think you should make another, much more detailed poll including all these possibilities.

For instance, that Ahkna pursues Crichton out of vengeance for him killing her lover Penok, and to get Wormhole tech from him.

That the Nebari suddenly appear as aggressors again.

That Crichton and Aeryn and Harvey and the Baby are reconstituted with Scorpius' help and finally make an alliance with the Peacekeepers to fight the Scarrans using Wormhole tech--which means the PKs protect Earth too.
etc etc

When people who before have accused me of cutting and pasting from my past posts start cutting and pasting from my past posts...in order to give Scorpius some credit....
well, well well...I can only say: how the worm has turned.

However,
Scorpius only thwarted the Scarrans in one region of space by destroying the Chrystherium Utiliae on Katratzi. Though it was a successful mission, it was only a battle in a much more expansive war. The Scarran Imperium is not confined to that one region of space. And now they are, in all liklihood, as pissed as hornets whose nice, fat nest has been destroyed.

Season five, imho, would have a lot to do with the full-on Scarran bloodbath we've been waiting four years to see unfold.

I think I read somewhere, perhaps the Farscape Magazine, that year 5 was supposed to feature the Scarrans, Ahkna and Staleek. It would make sense for Ahkna in particular to chase after Crichton. But I was curious of the Peacekeepers versus the Scarrans. Would either side strike the other, the Peacekeepers seeing the Scarran weakness, the Scarrans out of desperation. I believe Jool was supposed to resurface with more answers about the magnetics of Arnesk(?), and might actual either prevent or stop the upcoming war, which I have felt was inevitable between the PKs and the Scarrans.

I have also thought that the Nebari would resurface, seems the kind of thing DK would use for a season cliffhanger, the Nebari contagion strikes, the universe is frelled, and it's up to Froonium Rick to figure out how to fix it in year six.

I think Aeryn would be puking a lot.

Aeryn also knew the answer to John's wormhole problem because she was in the future.

I would liked to have seen the Nebari return though from what I've read there was no plans for them to do so.

I think Grayza's gonna help the crew. You know- probably join. John's words to her near the end of Season 4 seemed to get through pretty well, what with her 'let's all sacrifice ourselves' speech.

Hmm could happen and I wouldn't mind seeing it she needs more developing. I agree that she did show some admirable character in WSS when she tried to blow up the base to prevent the Scarrans nabbing John despite the knowledge she would likely die as a result of it.

Maybe Bracca will turn on Scorpius, and help, as well. You have to admit, he looked pretty disgusted. Or maybe everyone's right- he's disgusted because Sikozu will stop him from his late- night specials with his favorite half-breed master. In that case, never mind, and... Eww.

I'm very interested to see how this would play out. With his new rank and increased confidence Braca may be more "uppity" with Scorpius in the future. I also think his disgust may have been at the strangulation thing those two had going. Even if Scorpy wasn't really out to hurt her I don't see PK's as the type to be tolerant or understanding of that sort of creative sexual play.

Most of all what I'd want to see from season 5 is the Scarran/PK war. Both the war itself and how it changes the characters. From an interview I read there was supposed to be some massive battle that was going to take place at the end of season 5. Something they were "working toward" for a very long time.

LMAO!!!:rollin:

OH MY GOD... I could see so many possibilities with that. Imagine how aggravated Harvey could get...

And best of all, DK would actually DO IT. I mean, because we all know how DK thinks at this point- a concept of writing which rocks in my humble opinion- come up with a totally kickfrell plot involving a war and a cold war and an evil mother and a guy named Scorpius and the Scarrrrrans and the Nebari and all of this awesomeness... And then, every episode, throw in at least one more little plot point, to make things even MORE confusing and kickfrell.

So, whilst our heroes are fighting on two fronts, the Scarrans are attacking, the Peacekeepers are fighting back, Aeryn's having a baby, the Nebari return, Grayza and Bracca come to life, Sikozu and Scorpius umm, yeah, Rygel tries to reclaim his throne, D'Argo rounds up some Luxans, Chiana teams with D'Argo again, Stark turns insane again... Harvey will have a John neural clone stuck in his head, and every so often, it will turn away from 'the important stuff' to see John Crichton throwing pies at the poor beast, Three Stooges-style.

Wow, this is strange. I just said all that stuff about the John clone in Harvey's head... And then, last night I watched 'Incubator' for the first time.

Heck, in a very odd, related way, they've already done it.

It's just... It was Scorpius for real, with John the Neural Clone, and if you ask me, John took the whole 'not being real' thing a little lightly.

But hey, if any of you ever play Final Fantasy X, you'll agree that the protagonist took not being real WAY to easily.

...It happens. Besides, if they filled the episode with John resisting being real, it wouldn't make enough time for Scorpius' past, which I thought was fascinating.

What if Scorpius' daddy comes back and tries to kill his son in Season 5?

I would like best to see the Nebari more in Season 5. I mean, it seems like they were made out to be very, very nasty and the story went nowhere from there. Even if we got on or two episodes devoted to these mind-cleansing addicts would satisfy me. I also like several of the other season 5 possiblities especially Noranti being Maldus and Braca and Scorpius being lovers (but we all know that already).

I am suprised no one has said anything about the Scarran who flew right through Aeryn in the wormhole. Hmm.. Isn't that where "little Johnny" is? Would it not just drive John crazy when his son is born 1/4 Scarran because of gene contamination on Little Johnny? I thought that had crossed everyones mind. Maybe not...

O.K. THIS IS LONG WINDED SO BEAR WITH ME IF YOU CAN, I JUST HAD TO GET THIS CRAZY THEORY OUT OF MY HEAD.

For a long time now I've been wondering how the writers will (you heard me, WILL!) explain how Humans, Sebeceans, and Interions are all related. I'm also wondering what sparked the Hatfield/McCoy fued between the Scarrens and the PK's. Here I go:
What if technically Earth isn't our home world (well it is by now). What if it was the Scarrens home world, or it was an uninhabited planet they found first and decided to put their ancestoral species (i.e. the dinosaurs) there. Maybe for safe keeping, or as an experiment (could the scarrens evolve again?), or maybe they found it as a planet full of lizards that reminded them of their ancestors and they put the crysthilium flowers there to see what would happen. Then Sebeceans for some reason (fear of Scarrens expanding their territory and taking over? wanted revenge for something else?) decided to wipe Earth's slate clean (oops, we didn't see that big ol' meteor headed your way, its not like we sent it or anything). Then to really give them the finger :finger: they decided to put their own ancestoral species their. Of course this starts millennia of fighting. It has been going on so long they don't even remember what started it all and they don't remember Earth or any other planets they once colonized. During all this time Humans evolve. And that would bring us to the present. I know that is a little far fetched but I'm really wondering how they are going to explain it all and have it gel with the current scientific knowledge we have of this planet's past. Has anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Jeff O'Connor

OH MY GOD!!!

I'VE THOUGHT OF THE SAME EXACT THING BEFORE!!!

You aren't alone on that theory, believe-it-or-not. I've had a lot of time to think about stuff like that since a few days ago, when I went haywire since Midnights with Moya has been reduced to Sunday Nights with Sci-Fi's attempt to eradicate the show from history by lowering its showtimes.

Besides, I remember a weird episode of Star Trek: Voyager I saw a while back (yes, I watch more than just Farscape- just not often), and there were these aliens that had evolved from dinosaurs, and they didn't look like Scarrens, but still, it brought me thinking... With our 'hummingbird feeder' on Earth, and the dinosaurs in the past, and the Human-Sebacean similarities... Well, yeah. The same things you thought. The asteroid, the evolution, everything... I thought about it just a couple of days ago.

It's amazing... I really thought I was alone on this one. Maybe I'm NOT crazy... Maybe it's the truth... Maybe we'll find out- in, as you put it, Seasons 5, 6, and 7. :)

I'm rooting for the lil' Muppet to get his throne back, but not just yet. Instead, I voted that the Nebari come in out of nowhere while the Scarrans and PKs are beating each other up. They've been dormant for awhile, but they must be aware of what's going on and what better time to attack someone then when their sights are locked directly at someone else?

This has occurred to me too. Except that in my mind, Sebaceans are humans that have left Earth in their distant past. (our distant future if you get my drift.) They have adapted for life in space . Hence the cold blooded thing. Scarrans and all the other species in Farscape are species the humans took with them which have evolved into separate races. Lizards, cats (Different destinations)
Spiders (Twice Shy), Luxans are Elephants? Dunno. This conundrum has freaked me out for years .Since the show first aired. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Hmm...11 votes, but I'm the only one who's bothered to post that I definitely see Chiana and big D frelling like rabbits all over again.

As far as the theory of Sabacean/Human relations, what about evolution and the precursors to man, of which we have solid scientific evidence?

Jeff O'Connor
07-09-2003, 09:57 AM
Luxans were once Elephants? That's interesting... But then why would they be such powerful warriors? Well, Elephants are big and strong, but... They don't usually attack... Wait no... *Remembers horrible show, 'When Animals Attack VII'... Yeah, okay. I see it now.

But then... There would still be aliens out in space that have nothing to do with our planet, like the Ancients and things of that order. It would probably just mean A LOT of the species come from here.

*Ponders*

Emperor Staleek: Well, then. We were all wrong. The Sebaceans were the ones that birthed us. They're better than us. We're sorry, Sebaceans. Let's be friends.

Braca: What the hell is going on here...

Jeff O'Connor
07-09-2003, 10:01 AM
Wait, arrgh. Braca would say 'frell', not 'hell'. Well, he's not known to curse anyway... He'd probably just stand there and look constipated like he does best.

I don't think that Zhaan was dead to begin with. Everytime I hear Virginia Hey interviewed, she hints how her character wasn't 'really' dead & that she would have eventually returned. Season Five would have brought back Zhaan somehow.
