I am looking to find out if the SATURN awards are being televised. If so, what channel? When?
The awards are being given on May 18th. or so the Saturn Awards website says. No where does it state when or by who the awards program will be aired. Any NORMAL person would assume it would be shown on the SCIFI channel but with them you never really know....;)

Farscape has been nominated in three categories!!!!

Oops! excuse me! I forgot to say that I posted in campaign strategy because I was hoping this information about the awards program might help in some way.

Of course, Farscape has won in the past but seeing the show being nominated again and possibly winning is a huge boost for me and can only help in getting another network to pick up the show.

Actually, numerous members of this board are voting members at the Saturn awards. I believe they are still accepting memberships. You can find out at their website.

yes, thanks. I have been to the membership site as well as the Saturn Award site. Neither mentions if they are televised.

They ususally aren't televised, even on skiffy.

Last year, they were televised ONLY in Canada. :evil:

If Farscape wins the award for the 3 nominations can someone tape those moments in the broadcast? Also, how old do you have to be to vote in the Saturn Awards? 18?

I don't see anywhere on the membership page that says you have to be at least 18, but they do ask for age on the application. They probably only want legal adults, though, since they take themselves very seriously.

I'll write a friend of mine and see if she knows if the awards are going to be televised again. She has family and friends there still.

Well...it is a moot point for me since I will be 18 when the awards roll around next year. I was just wondering if their was an age limitation.
