How are the extras on the S2 DVDs?

Just wondering how the Season 2 DVDs are?

How are the extras?

I heard ADV doesn't have as many deleted scenes as the UK versions. I have the UK versions and there are some great extras. Including a quiz that if you get all of them right there is a great montage afterwards.

One thing i just discovered, there's a commentary for "Won't get fooled again", but it doesn't say anything about it on the DVD box

Buy region 4 boxsets: you get 4 commentaries (Mind The Baby, The Way We Weren't, Won't Get Fooled Again and Die Me, Dichotomy) with season 2 set. I haven't listened to them yet - I'm saving them for a Farcapeless (and therefore a bad) day - but critics praise all the others than the track of TWWW.

wtf is adv smoking. i'm sick of their shitty andromeda and crappy anime ads too. i wished the people who made the x file box sets made farscape. adv sucks.

Have never watched a r1 Farscape DVD....But r2 is great. I have two cd's that are choppy in the menu...but thats it. I were to lazy to go and change them. :(

The good news is that R4 box sets are now down to Aus $45 a season from selected outlets. This is $100 off the original prices from 3 years ago.

Hijacking this thread for awhile :)

I was hesitant to purchase R4 releases because of all the talk about the quality etc. but couldn't pass up on the price. I planned to wait for the Starburst editions but in the end don't think I could handle the long waiting period between releases.

I've just purchased S2 - 4 from Atlantic DVD. So now I'm wondering .. is the picture THAT bad or are some people just more picky or something? :) I've seen all the reviews, a few screenshots .. but if anyone owns this and is disappointed (or pleased) do share your opinions.

Also a semi-OT question .. has anyone purchased from Atlantic DVD outside of Australia? Any problems, comments etc.?

An update ..

AtlanticDVD is awesome .. they shipped it out last Friday and it arrived today - 4 days inc. of weekends from Australia to Malaysia.

The picture quality seems to be good. I've watched the first few 'action' sequences which were said to be blocky/bad but it's okay. I didn't even notice anything.

I recently purcahsed S1 to S4 Farscape DVDs. At a very resonable price to. It was only $35 a set, the store in the same center that specifes in DVDs sold them for $140 and that was on special!

The quality in them is quite good. So I can't see what the complaint is all about.

I would have liked more extras, thought S4 set is chock full of them. I'm just an extras buff. :)

I'm looking out for the PKW. So far nothing is out in Aus. :( But I'm hoping that I don't miss the release of it.

What's the starburst versions??
