Hi
I'm new to this forum and to farscape. I absolutely love this show and have tried to catch all the episodes, either on DVD or SCIFI. I finally saw Bad Timing for the first time last Sunday. I was very lost through most of it. Was this ep differant from most or did I just misjudge it because it was their "final" one?

Welcome Marfa! (And please don't take offense if I fondly remember a racehorse by that name :D )
Bad Timing was different, because when it was filmed it was intended to be the season 4 finale, NOT the series finale.
In the beginning, you saw that Scorpius and Sikozu were kicked off the ship as John and Aeryn and the crew of Moya raced to the wormhole to Earth, trying to get there before the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans.
John knew that he had to destroy the wormhole, to keep the PKs and Scarrans from being able to get to Earth. But his reaction time was much too slow, so Pilot had to be detached from Moya (very dangerous and painful) to help navigate the transport pod that would 'pop' the wormhole and make it collapse in upon itself.
In the middle of that, John got to say goodbye to his father (the scene on the moon).
When John, Pilot and Aeryn began to collapse the wormhole, it took the Scarran Stryker craft with it. And Moya, disoriented without Pilot, needed Stark's help to stabilize. Chiana used her vision, which can slow down time, to visualize all of the procedures that would need to be done while Pilot was gone. But doing so has caused her to go blind for increasingly long periods of time.
In the end, they are all very glad to be alive, and to have destroyed the wormhole to Earth. Chiana and D'Argo are back together, and Pilot and Moya are resting and recovering with the help of the minerals in the planetary sea Moya floats in.
John and Aeryn go out in the rowboat (presumably brought back from Earth) and he proposes to her. She accepts, and tells him the baby she carries is his.
Just at their moment of greatest happiness, the alien craft flies by and 'neturalizes' them for 'analysis.' We see them apparently break into thousands of crystallized fragments, before the 'To Be Continued' appears.
The miniseries, which just finished filming and is in post-production, will hopefully tie up those loose ends and lay a foundation to continue the show, if the ratings support it.
Hope that helps, and welcome once again to FMD! :hi:

At first, the character Aeryn Sun may be a little hard to take...
