Farscape #12 shows up in comic book stores on Wednesday 20 October 2010. Seriously, do not miss this issue. It's a major game changer. There's a huge status quo shift and you will not believe it. :)

Can't wait to read it. I'm resisting the temptation to look at the preview.
I'm on season 4 of a series re-watch right now and I'm looking forward to going from that to re-reading the comics. I can't say that I know of, or have heard of, a comic that has tried to do anything like this--picking up a series where it left off.

On a side note: It's been fun watching the television series evolve from season to season. The costume and makeup changes, character development and the addition of multiple complex story arcs etc... I think the same can be said of the comic. It's been a lot of fun watching the artwork come together, the stories adapt to the new form, and seeing writing that is true to the original series and characters but also feel fresh, creative, and lively--not simply reproduction but something new.

^ Actually, there have been official comic book continuations of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from Dark Horse, Angel from IDW, and Jericho from Devil's Due. So we're not exactly being original here.... :D

I forgot about those, but I'm going to paraphrase Luther Ingram on this and say, if thinking you're the first is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

Yeah, you're right - I don't believe it. Has Rockne been at Noranti's stash or something?
