The FWA. Farscape Webmaster's Association. here's the skinny....
The purpose of the Association is to share news and information with other Farscape websites, and to collaborate on projects. This helps us access the power of the Scaper community all over the world and creates unity from the many solitary Farscape sites.
Here’s how the Association works: The core group is comprised of some of the largest and most active Farscape websites, as well as sites dedicated to the Save Farscape campaign. These sites have the charter to reach out to all of the Farscape related sites we can find to share information and solicit ideas. There are so many talented people eager to help in the campaign; we want to open the door to everyone to give them an opportunity to participate.
The core group of the Webmasters Association is now the oversight committee for new projects going forward in support of the marketing plan and the disposition of new monies contributed to the Farscape: Beyond Hope fund starting Monday, October 21. We are looking at ways to raise money for the fund to pay for national or international projects to increase publicity for the campaign or increase viewership.
These are the core members of the Farscape Webmasters Association, with associated sites bulleted beneath. (Members: if I missed an associated site, please let me know. Thanks.)

Questions & Answers
How does my Farscape related website get to be a member of the Association?
Core membership is currently at manageable capacity, but associate members are welcome to share information and to work on projects. We will assign you to a core member so you have direct access to everything that is going on.

and here's their Operating Principles....
The FWA has a dual purpose: to provide a communication link between Farscape related websites, and to guide and direct new projects to publicize the Save Farscape campaign and promote viewership as per the marketing plan.
The FWA is set up in a hierarchy for expediency and efficiency. There is a core of voting members...You were invited to participate in the voting group based on three criteria: site traffic and commitment to frequent updates, or single purpose commitment to the campaign, such as SaveFSCentral or Free Pilot. Some high volume sites may have been missed if they didn’t have a counter by which to assess the traffic. Lack of time was the limiting factor once again.
The reason large sites were chosen as voting members is that frequent updates and traffic show a commitment to Farscape and organizational abilities in maintaining a high traffic site. We need to have far-thinking and influential Scapers who can guide the campaign. The Webmaster Room is your private resource for launching core member discussions and ideas for the campaign, so they can be thrashed out and honed in private before we involve the rest of the Scaper community in the discussion.
The voting members have smaller sites or sites that chose not to become part of the original voting group that they mentor to create a two-way informational flow. This enables us to involve everyone without having 100 people in a room.
It also helps us assess where we can use some of the resources available out there for projects. We need to start thinking in terms of moving the campaign forward and how to publicize it and increase viewership. Projects are starting to come forward from the Scaper population for funding. We need to assess these projects based on their conformance to the marketing plan and probability of success.
We need to raise funds to pay for these projects, and those are projects in themselves. There is a lot of work to do, and many hands here to help so that a few people are not burdened with the bulk. We all have RL commitments and varying skills and abilities, so we want to ensure that we are conscious of using our talents and time wisely. We also want to recruit from our mentor sites to help. Involve them; many of them want to help, they just don’t know how.
