Hey all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I just wanted to let you know about some nifty stuff that my Scaper buddies and I came up with after a couple days of brainstorming. We think it's pretty cool and I hope that you will, too!

I love the shiny Moya fish :) Just to verify though, the sticker is oval-shaped with white background and gray lettering, right?

Yes, unfortunately it requires a little more funding to make real Moya fishes. If there's enough interest, however, we do have some leads! Would anyone buy a real (plastic) Moya Fish if we could offer them?

Oh, I love the sticker. I was just wanting to be sure that it wasn't a clear background. My car is gray and if the background was clear ... well, you get the idea ;)

Wow I love these, especially the Moya-fish. But I want bigger, in color, clear background, even Rick's window film, at least 2 feet wide. I could name my car! Pretty shiney teal to match my car. :D I could put other stuff around it with the airtimes for reruns etc. on separate film pieces.

Just ordered my license plate frame. I've been wanting a Farscape license plate frame for a while!
Now, if only my $%#@$ "MOYA" license plates would arrive... 3 weeks overdue and counting...

So ummm.. Esk! I was serious about doing a blowup for my rear windshield. What's the deal on authorship of the artwork/design of the MoyaFish?
Oh, and BTW, I know you're new, but have you had a chance to check out the "original" CarScape project? It should still be pinned to the top of this page. I don't know about others, but I got kinda confused when I saw CarScape for your thread but think what you're doing is really innovative.

When a friend of mine suggested that I use that name for my store, it sounded familiar but it just didn't click that it was already in use. Since the original is a completely different sort of thing than my Carscape, I'm not gonna worry about it. ^_^

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm proud to announce that, after days of work, my Farscape Poster is complete! It comes in a variety of sizes and there's even a limited edition framed print available. It's called "FARSCAPE - To Be Continued" and it features a John Crichton quote from every episode. I hope everyone will like it. I know I'm gonna buy a couple myself to wallpaper my room with. Hee hee ;)

Major dilema here. I've vowed to keep my car sticker free, but the "My lane! Your lane!" and shiny Moya is soooo tempting. I love my Techtonics Tuning license plate frame but the one on there (My other car is...) is just calling to me. Like I didn't have enough to worry about already! Damn you Esk! <just kidding, much love:P >

In fact, there are still about 27 yet-unused sticker ideas... some will remain unused because they're just not very good. Others will be put into print in the days to come.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr. How do I open that frelling attachment? Your link says the file is called 'somethingorother(sorry, I forget ;-)).txt', but when I try to download the attachment, all I get is a file called 'attachment.php' that can't be opened with any of my programs.

I just experimented a bit and renamed the file - simply changed the file suffix to txt - and it worked!
Weird... but at least now I know how it works. :-)

Very cool, Esk -- I almost got that for myself, complete with Air & Space Museum "marauder," but then I settled for RYGEL 16 :) Saw someone on the highway a few weeks ago who was AERYNSN :aok:

I would buy a 'real' Moyafish as well- except I'd buy 6 or 7... 4 for the people that watch at my house that drive cars, and a few extra for gimmes....
I can see the 'real' Moyafish being a great gimme at a con table as well...
any plans to update the Carscape designs for the post-cancellation world? I'm guessing that after the ads we're talking about are shown that we'll get an influx of new folks again, and it would be great to have an updated version available specifically for the campaign, and/or directing people to the 1-800 #... just a thought.
Dominar: The reason it was taken at the time is that I reserved it (for 6 months) while I was awaiting my new car and then its title.

You make a good point, though, and I will consider more campaign-centric items!

Unfortunately, despite the significant demand, it was not enough to warrant actual production of the moyfish. Should I find someone willing to make the decal in a lower quantity, I'll let you all know!

I'm so glad you bumped this, Johnsgirl!! I bought my Moya fish months ago but forgot where it came from. I love it.
Funny story about that: I carefully cleaned my rear window and applied the sticker. Looked great. Next morning, driving to work, I remembered and, with a big smile peered into my rear view mirror to catch a glimpse. IT WAS GONE!! Horrors! Who could have done such a thing? Was it just blocked by a seat back? Nope. I could see the whole window. No sticker. Kids? Christian extremists? Scarrans?? I spent more time looking in my mirror than an the road before me that trip. Got to work, walked 'round the back of the car, there's Moya!
The stickers are invisible from inside the car.
Really cool feature, but I'm lucky I made it to work intact. I love my Moya fish!

Well, my network has failed me. I haven't been able to find anywhere that'd make the real moyafishes for us. So I have a request! Will everyone ask around and try to find a service or an interested manufacturer that would be willing to produce the item? I would really appreciate the help and I know that the final product would be well worth the effort.
