Turns out, my husband's Starfleet chapter (Avenger) is having a table there! (Well, as soon as he makes arrangements he will.) I'll make sure he's got a stack of flyers.

However, if y'all want, we Jersey Scapers (and NYC area Scapers) can set up our own table and man it :-)

And I'll post more info about it when I open up another window and cut and paste it - tomorrow, after some sleep.

------Table Update---------
My husband has gotten a reply from the con. The Avenger has "a very good reputation" and will be allowed a table, though not in the dealer's room as that is all booked up. What this means, is at the very least, we will have space for SaveFarscape/Watch Farscape flyers.

Now, if there's interest, I can use both Avenger's reputation and Save Farscape's reputation (which from what I've heard is always well-recieved at cons) and try and get us our own table. However, I'd need people to help run it. If both my husband and I go, we'll have to tag team with our 5 year old son, and more than likely, he'll stick with me (he's a momma's boy.) Plus, assuming I still can't find work by then, $40 is *a lot* of money to us right now, let alone $80, plus the kid's cost and it wouldn't be worth it (money wise) for me to go and deal with both a table and child by myself. <And before anyone asks, no, there is no chance in hezmana we could get a babysitter. The reasons are long and bitter and something I'd rather not discuss on an open board.>

Volunteers are needed to work the con, so you can cut costs that way. For more info, you can email or PM me.

Please, pretty please, post here or on the NewJersey Scapers group if you're interested in coming. I know the guests aren't "big name actors" but from what I've heard, the con does get a fair amount of attendies.
