I got an email from him yesterday...

And you will never guess what i just got! 1 minute ago, after your first email I got handed a package containing the Farscape cookbook from "Farscape Fans Worldwide". from someone in Borth Royalton, OH.
It's very funny!

Guy

I wrote back and asked him if I could share that with y'all...

Of course. And pass on my thanks to all those involved. It sits on the coffee table at Soundfirm, the company who did the audio post and where I have my studios.

So, to everyone involved in making the Cookbook AND to whomever sent a copy to Guy... GOOD ONYA, MATES!

Jules ;0)

We had set aside a group of cookbooks as part of the cookbook project for cast/crew. Many were given out cast/crew at the cons and such. I had finally mailed the rest of the cast/crew cookbooks out in the last week or so (including the one to Guy).

Very cool that it made it and thanks for passing on that he thought it was funny. (I hope the people at Henson think its funny, too. They should have gotten a few last week.)

:D

Thanks - you made my day! :aok:

Love him, love him, love him!

I love hearing from the production crew. the cast gets the lions share of the attention, but they are just as Farscape as all of us, and I love that they follow the campaign too.

That cookbook was one of the best things we ever done! High five to the brilliant minds who conceived of it!

Well, what more cheesy thing can I say except "my compliments to the cook"?

Congrats to the cookbook crew!

It's too late to get a print copy, but I believe you can get a cd or .pdf file.

The printed copies are gone. :(

Though we did go through 2 printings and over 300 books originally :aok:

If there were enough interest, we'd print more, but you need to print over 100 of them to get enough of a price break to raise money for the campaign - so it'd have to be a lot of interest :)

We might coax Chryse in continuing to make the PDF available for download.

This is too funny. I grew up in North Royalton, OH. I'm sure the "Borth Royalton" is a typo. How odd to find that someone from my home town is on this board and sent a cookbook to Guy Gross! Go whoever lives in North Royalton!

Hey girl! I'm in North Royalton and sent the book on behalf of Savefarscape.com and the cookbook project :D

I KNEW that had to be a typo, but didn't have a clue as to what it SHOULD be! LOL!

And, CM's from there, originally. This IS a frelling SMALL world, isn't it? It does my heart good.

who needs persuading? Especially after such kind words from a great musician/composer? :D

If you donate $5 books to Beyond Hope, and want a download of the cookbook, forward your paypal receipt to me and you'll get the password.
