I'm not positive about the official ruling, but generally this is frowned upon. Any time you want points, you should submit a NEW question.

As for copying and pasting -- I think you've got the idea (I am looking at the message you edited on the last page ;) ). All you have to do is select question you want to copy, do Contol-C (or edit > copy) and then paste it into your message (by doing Control-V or edit > paste).
