About Zhaan and the matter with John… It's up to sunshiner about whether Selena gets credit for her answer, but I'm going to clarify the question anyway. Someone asks, what's the matter with John. What is Zhaan's answer?
Zhaan does say that he is just being Crichton so I gave credit to Selena.
Q: Why doesn't Aeryn trust Matala, in the beginning?
A: : "Well, she’s clearly leading D’Argo around by his mivonks and I think she’s having some sort of effect on you [Crichton]."
Aeryn mistrusted Matala before this comment. And I’m not so sure a real “reason” was given. Perhaps their aura’s clashed.
But the comment about sending two scientist out alone was made first in the episode. So I gave the point for that response.
