Must have needed a good cry

It was cloudy and rainy yesterday. I stayed in and had a mini
Farscape marathon. Watched Infinite Possibilities, The Choice, & Fractures all in one sitting. Emotionally draining to say the least.

Some random thoughts:

Fractures - one of the most emotional scenes, for me, is when John is unpacking dead John's bag. This is just so sad for me to watch. I wonder, when he is sniffing his coat, what he smells? He gets this odd quizzical look on his face.
The part where he unholsters Winona is an awesome piece of acting/writing.

I don't watch these episodes all that often. But they are so good.

Okay, now you've made me sad, because I don't own the entire series on
VHS or DVD.

The scene where John hears of John two's death was very emotional for me cos he then tries to comfort Aeryn who is very cold cos she is dealing with it . The bit where Moya John reminds her of Talyn John, that was very sad for me too.

I just saw "Infinite possibilities", and its getting worse. I never before cried that much while he was dying, and I am not the one living near the water.

The writers (Ben Browder included) made such a beautiful story and finished it in such a cruel way. We saw John and Aeryn, both the luckiest people in this part of the Universe and it is all destroyed.
Next time I throw something against the TV, I swear.

I yesterday finished "The Choice" and "Fractures" and I know, why I love and hate Season 3 so much. This story is unique in so many ways, never thought it could be possible to write it like that.

And now I know why John didn't trust Crais in the end, I forgot, that TalynJohn had recognized that Crais had changed, not MoyaJohn.

Agree all of those episodes have lots of powerful and emotional scenes. Another one is when Crichton finally gets to see the message provided through Starks mask. Telling him to be patient with Aeryn and the burden now sits with him to stop Scorpius but even through the sadness I can't help but force a smile as they do rock paper scissors one more time even with tears in my eyes.

I have only recently got the whole series on DVD and I have just watched Talyn John's death(I have watched it before hand also).

And watching it again, it shows so much of the love that John has for Aeryn and like wise. When John watches that message from the other, you can really see the emotion from them both and you can tell that from Aeryn's reaction to them that he is perfect for her.

Well thats what I think anyway...
