Constellation of Doubt/Prayer

WOW. First, let me say that I was out of town for a wedding this weekend and I had *serious* Farscape withdrawal. It wasn't pretty.

Just finished Constellation of Doubt and Prayer. Awesome. I wish that some of the deleted scenes could have gone back into Constellation of Doubt. Such great stuff about the characters and what they think about Earth.

Prayer - I love this episode. I think this almost makes up for practically no Aeryn for the first four episodes of season 4. During Aeryn's captivity I kept thinking of John in the Aurora chair. He was resisting as much as possible and making sarcastic remarks. At one point she starts talking about Velorek. I found it *soooo* interesting that the Scarran didn't believe that her lover was dead because she betrayed him! The Scarran says she is lying and Aeryn says, "No, I'm not lying, I'm just not a very nice..." and they continue to interrogate her. Now, isn't that just how Crichton would react?!?!?! I just thought that was so cool.

I have We're So Screwed parts 1 & 2, but I don't have the last two episodes of season 4. (They *should* be arriving from Netflix tomorrow.) I'm going to control myself so I can watch all 4 episodes in a row.

I really liked Constellation of Doubt, and was listening to the (Australian edition) commentary with Anthony Simcoe and . . . the director, I think? It was interesting to discover that Anthony Simcoe really wasn't keen on the "earth eps" and really didn't like Harvey at all. I wanted to know what their explanation was for everyone on the show speaking English without translation, but I suppose it's just one of those things . . . maybe the show was dubbed by someone with translator microbes.

gee i would love to listen to that commentary. the american version has none for constellation of doubt, or for prayer either. anthony simcoe is such a funny and bright guy...... his commentary for bone to be wild was really excellent. did they include that in the australian version? why not include everything for everyone?

i think ben browder mentions, in the commentary for Kansas, that he also wished that the "instant english" everyone picked up had been better explained.

I did exactly the same thing last night after watching Prayer I couldn't resist going straight on to the first part of We're So Screwed as well. A brilliant episode and I love the end how out of the blue Harvey 2.0 "wakes".

Is that true the BBC renamed the episode leaving out we're so screwed? I didn't know that!

Carly, I have the Australian DVDs as well for season 3 and 4. I'll have to give that Anthony Simcoe commentary a listen, the Gigi Edgely one as well.

If anyone's interested you can import the Australian region 4 DVDs from a company called axel Music.com (located in Europe) for just over $34 US (£18 UK) for each complete season including delivery!

link for s1 but all seasons available...
