For the Google doodle goodie box...
3-day Fed Ex shipping = $44.40 Total cost = $164.11 + shipping costs That $164.11 does include the shipping costs. The $44.40 was the cost for FedEx shipping the box to Cali. ![]()

Typo for the bumper stickers -- it's $808, not $880. Guyricardo did a few dozen cling stickers, too. Not sure what that cost, although I believe he posted it towards the end of the Bumper Sticker Part Deux thread.
Also, what about all the CafePress stuff? Is that included here? For example, I know that there were a lot of posters of the cookbook cover sold (I've got mine framed and hanging in my kitchen )

Cookbook cover stuff is in with the rest of the cookbook stuff (part II). And I still owe you better FarOps stuff - I will try to get to it tomorrow. RL has been really, really crazy lately.

OK-I'll fix the typo.
hmmm... no other cafe press stuff--as far as I know--If someone would submit it (with some sort of dates), I'll add it... And if someone (other than me )could find the cling stuff and also tell me where to put it, I'll add it.Here's a question, though. I have tried to be conservative in adding up costs. For instance, I always take the lower number when there is a range of estimates. I haven't wanted to take a chance of double counting what has been spent, so when I add up the total spent, I have been only adding the COST of the projects used to raise money like the cookbooks or the calendars--that is, I have been assuming that the money raised (the donations minus the cost) will appear in the costs of other projects where the money was sent after being raised by the initial projects. But here is a case where it isn't--I don't have the cookbook covers as a separate project. I have a list of where the money then went for the calendars, but not for the cookbooks. (and I still don't know what might be double counting on that calendar proceeds list, either.) Maybe I should be counting the total donations raised by those kinds of projects instead of just the production costs? Comments? Help? |

This probably doesn't belong in THIS document, but is there anyway to get comprehensive data on dvd/video sales/rentals? I wonder how many folks own the 88 (and can be counted on to purchase the mini, etc). There's gotta be an impressive number of $$$ tied up in all that too. If this was a Corporate Annual Report, I bet that would merit a footnote. (; - Mac

We can't track through the net donations to the cookbook project to any particular project - they went into that big FWA fund and were disbursed from there as needed. So you are correct that you can't count the net donations by themselves without double counting (since they should show up in another project somewhere). You *can* count the expenses of the cookbook project as donations to the campaign consumed by the cookbook project in order to raise funds for other projects - they won't get counted any other way (other than the total donations to the FWA column). For the cookbook covers from CafePress. I believe I just included the net check from CafePress and not the "total sales". So if the poster cost $15 and we got $2 from that, I only counted the $2. And that total number went into the calculation above for the cookbook (part II) project - I think. It was somewhere around $100 anyway, so not exactly worth breaking out. Does that help? Or make muddy water even muddier? ![]()
