Every time I get sulky about this campaign you guys come up with the perfect thing to lift my spirits. Give those anonymous Scapers a HUGE bear hug for me!

I love Scapers.
No, seriously. I do. I am soooo proud to be part of this group. I literally have tears in my eyes after having just read the TF ratings thread and witnessing the indominable never-say-die Scaper spirit in the face of discouraging news, and now this. ::sniff:: Beautiful. My sincerest thanks to whomever is responsible for this Variety cover. Regardless of what impact it may ultimately have on the ratings or whether we actually get our show back or not, it's this kind of public affirmation of our love for Farscape and the wonderful people who make it that means WE HAVE ALREADY WON! FARSCAPE WILL NEVER DIE! If for no other reason than this, I will never regret a single minute or dollar spent on this campaign.

You said it, DOA. I decided last night that, whatever the ratings do, whether we have to fight this thing for months or years, that this is a SUPREMELY positive experience in my life - I have never been so proud to be associated with a particular group of people in my life.
I'm verklempt. I really am. Suse Just cuz I still can <g> |

Okay, completely dumb question here. And I'm not asking to rain on the parade. But everytime people push things in places like the Hollywood Reporter and Variety, I ask myself who exactly reads these publications. I, myself, have never even seen them for sale anywhere, not that I've looked mind you. But do they actually reach John and Jane Q Public who go about their daily lives and sit down to watch TV in the evenings? Or are they directed to those people who follow entertainment news almost as addictively as we follow Farscape?
I'm asking this as a real question because I am so far out of the loop of what Ordinary John and Jane do that I haven't a clue? So please don't take it as summer squall passing through the thread. ![]()
