According to Broadcasting & Cable, after a long absence, David Kemper, and his co-producers at Rigel Entertainment, has inked a 5-picture deal with the SCI FI Channel AND he has a new series in development for cable. The pictures are being targeted towards SCI FI's Saturday movies.  According to the news release, the new series, a post-apocalyptic take on Xena based on a comic book, has seen interest from three cable networks.
